We stayed here overnight so we could catch the Malta Ferry in the morning. It was small but clean. I was disappointed that I couldn't use the internet. There wasn't any documentation in the room telling me how to do that.

We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our holiday at the Belarte Hotel. Cinzia & her staff were all very helpful & welcoming. Decor was different in our room - body parts pictures & tactile wallpaper. The breakfast was delicious (for those of us who appreciate fresh local produce) salami & cheeses, bread, crepes, croissants, chocolate & yogurts with fresh coffee & water.
Shower was fabulous & attention to detail with clarins toiletries. Bed very comfortable. Door onto private garden area would be perfect in slightly warmer weather. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Charming hotel with a uniquie courtyard design on an alley just steps away from the main drive of Modica and the main intersection of town. Hotel is quiet, clean, and with polite staff. The included breakfast is expansive and fresh.
The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Modica. Everything is is in easy walking distance. but still I had a very difficult time finding the hotel—Google Maps places this address not in Modica but down on the Mediterranean coast in the town of Pozzallo some ten miles away. Don’t be alarmed: sometimes Google Maps is wrong. What?!
Have no fear. Here is what you need to do:
Go to 141 Corso Umberto I in Modica.
Climb the steps just to the left of this address. At the top turn left and you will find the hotel on your right. Enjoy.

This was the best hotel that I ever stayed at. It was beautiful, in perfect taste, had great breakfasts, and stunning views from the garden. Most of all, they assisted me in securing medical help that I needed. This is a gem of a hotel and great value. I would go there again and stay for a month!

Very enjoyable stay in Ragusa. Giorgio met us on the car park and did a luggage run up to the apartment in his battered Fiat - one look at the tight lanes and alleys and you knew why it was battered. The apartment was spacious and cool - even in the summer heat. The bed was comfortable and you could achieve near black-out conditions within the apartment so a good nights sleep was easily achieved. Reception & breakfast room was a short walk down the hill, where Giorgio and his staff team looked after us brilliantly. Breakfast was of a high standard with local cheeses / sausage and freshly cooked frittata omelette plus a selection of pastries and excellent coffee (made in a variation you wanted). Returning to the apartment it was always clean & tidy with a bottle of water in the fridge.
