“Good business or pleasure location”
Good eating and shopping (Trader Joe's) right across the street. Clean and fresh. Starbucks coffee in the lobby!!!! Not free but right there in the lobby.
“Good place to stay”
The hotel was very nice. We stayed here during the hurricane after we had to leave Richmond, VA. The hotel was very comfortable. The internet was always working properly. We had a nice balcony that overlooked the pool/courtyard area and it was really nice. The pool area was well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We had a fridge and microwave which where helpful. The entrance was modern and they have a deli style food area, looked okay, didn't use it so not sure if it was expensive or not. The area is one exit off the freeway from a mall area with shops, entertainment and restraunts. Would stay here again if in the area.
“Pretty nice, would stay here again”
Three things: 1. They only had one elevator and it was really far away from my room. This usually wouldn't be a problem, as I like to take the stairs, except I was reffing a girls' lacrosse tournament and my body hated me for climbing two flights. 2. Breakfast should definitely come included, but it doesn't. You have to reserve the breakfast-inclusive rooms for a greater cost, or just buy your breakfast from their little cafe thing. 3. I did find two long dark hairs on the shower wall. This didn't bother me that much, but I know most people mind seeing other peoples' hair in a shower that is supposed to be spotless. Other than those minor issues, everything else was great. The front desk lady was very helpful and funny, and when I wanted to eat some chicken soup she hooked it up with a bowl for the microwave. She also gave me free laundry detergent for the wash.

Great time and great stay

It was slightly old, and smelled a little. Depending on what side of the hotel you were on there was no elevator so I had to carry my luggage up a flight of stairs which was irritating. Breakfast was included in the Expedia package but I had to remind them of that fact. The hot breakfast was pretty good but that was the best part of the hotel.

Very clean hotel and the staff was very courteous and helpful!

check in staff not at all helpful or welcoming. The woman who checked us in was very rude and did not seem to understand the layout of the hotel.
“Great Experience”
My young daughter and I went to a theatrical show and wanted to do some things the next day so we spent the night and it was wonderful! The staff was courteous, the place was clean, and the entire place was a smoke free building! We had a room facing the pool and my daughter loved it! When we go back this weekend and again in June, we are definitely staying there again!
“Courtyard by Marriott”
This hotel is what I've come to expect from Courtyard by Marriott hotels. That is to say, excellent. The staff are professional and courteous and the hotel was quite the pleasant place. There was road construction nearby, and the signage for the hotel was not visible at night because of this, however.
