Friendly staff

My son and I stayed here and had a very pleasant experience. Room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggesting places to dine. Excellent value.

Raleigh Days Inn experience

Pros: Great location to walk to local attractions such as museums and restaurants.
Cons: Basic necessities such as TV, electric outlets.
Location: Great location near downtown attractions.
No wash cloths were available. Front desk gave us a hand towel to use. Tv was not working, Front desk manager came to room to adjust. Temperature handle on shower was reversed. Front Desk called us at museum to move our car because of construction.. Electric plug was not working in room.

Cheap price, cheap hotel

Pros: The room did have A/C, so that's a plus.
Cons: This hotel is in desperate need of renovations.
Location: Clouds Bar is a couple blocks away. Great beer selection and a self-serve beer station. Pretty cool!
I guess you get what you pay for. My room was very old, dingy, and a bit musty. The carpeting seemed dirty and the drywall was warped in the bathroom surrounding the shower. The laundry facility was empty (I had been hoping to wash some clothes), all it had was a sign that read "Laundry Room". Basically it's just an old, run-down hotel that clearly hasn't been updated in decades. I was booked for a 4-night stay because I was in town for a work conference at the convention center, about 1 mile away. I checked out after 2 days and switched to another place across the street from the convention center. It was almost double the price but so much more comfortable.

Room smell terrible. Access to second floor was dirty, smelly and full os mosquitos below the stairs. Not well maintained

Nice staff but WIFI did not work in our room!

Unfortunately the WIFI didn't work at all during our 2 night stay. It did work in lobby and having to send emails from the lobby was very inconvenient.

It was close to my destination and I could walk to where I needed to be, but I couldn't stand to be at the hotel for more than sleeping hours. Breakfast was extremely poor and I was never able to connect to WiFi in my room.

Location: Everything in downtown.
The room was pretty hot even with the a.c running on full blast. The room was drab and a little outdated. The room was clean with the exception of a used tampon under the mattress. This was a decent place to stay for the price but I think next time Ill spend the extra money and stay in a nicer place.

The air was not in working condition. Room was extremely hot. Night clerk was a know it all. Not very helpful.

Adequate lodgings, close to downtown

Pros: The location.
Cons: See the "experience" comments.
Location: There are places to go nearby on Glenwood, but we spent our time downtown. It was an easy 15 minute or so walk to the center of town.
We chose this hotel for the location plus the fact that it was cheaper than some other options. The public areas and the rooms are tired and reek of cleaning products. People are often sitting on the stairs smoking, which can be annoying. In at least one case, this a member of the staff. The hotel reception staff were far less friendly than other service people that we meet in Raleigh. We didn't try the breakfast, because of past experience with Days Inn breakfasts being minimal. We also had trouble with our room key having to make two trips to the desk to get them re-coded. We weren't the only ones to have difficulty with this. On the second night, we had the air conditioning on the coldest setting, and it was barely cool enough to sleep.
