Average hotel, above average pricePosted Nov 9, 2013
I expected above average hotel after paying several hundreds dollars per night. But room was comparable to under a hundred a night. Small room. Small bathroom and tub shower. Tiny closet. Room didn't feel clean. Pillows were not comfortable. Cleaning lady woke us at 8:30 am and hovered around until we left. We won't stay there again.

Nice hotel right next to the NC State campus.Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: The location is perfect if you are visiting your child at the school.
Location: Right next to campus. Everywhere we went (football stadium, restaurants, airport, downtown) was all within 10 minutes of the hotel.
The hotel is very nice and comfortable. I arrived early and the receptionist let me check into my room early. Love the warm chocolate chip cookies that you get when you check in and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice but a bit noisy.Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, comfortable beds.
Cons: Sound carries from outside traffic & inside hotel.
Location: Walking distace to NCSU & several shops. A few blocks from Pullen Park. Driving distance to dowtown.
Very nice facility & friendly staff just wish rooms were better insulated as sounds from both outside & inside hotel carry.

Wonderful staff: very accommodating. Our room had a water spot in the carpet outside the bathroom and we were immediately moved to a new room, no questions asked. Very clean and would definitely stay there again. Nice breakfast (not included but very reasonable)

Walking distance to NC State Campus/Pullen parkPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here when it was the Brownstone when our son attended NC State. Always clean. When Hilton bought it, the whole place has been renovated. Very nice. Very clean.Very affordable. Front desk personal, friendly. And a huge thank you to Christian. This visit, we were there to attend my nieces wedding. Very close to downtown where the wedding was held. After the wedding, we walked around campus & Hillsborough Street, had a late night snack at Players Retreat which was across the street from our hotel. Next day was spent a @ Cameron Village, just a short drive.
