Hotel staff was very accommodating and hotel was whistle clean. It is a great place for groups to gather. Breakfast and the evening cocktail reception are an added bonus.

The hotel was very beautiful and the rooms were the most spacious we've ever occupied with 2 television sets. Keep up the good work. We are thinking about traveling back to NC, just for a hotel stay there! !!!!

Amazing hotel with fantastic value

Posted Apr 8, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel was amazing! It was beautiful inside and out. The service was fantastic. They even had a free breakfast buffet that had great quality food and a made to order omlet bar. The breakfast itself was worth $15-$20. You get a great deal for your money at this hotel.

No A/C

Posted Mar 11, 2015
I hate to give a bad review but my room had no A/C and smelled like cigarette smoke. I checked in at 7, turned the thermostat down, then left from 8 until midnight, thought it would be cool upon my return, it wasn't. I called the front desk and the very nice lady, Ebony, came up and explained they had received complaints about my room previously and had maintenance fix the A/C earlier but she guessed it hadn't worked. Amazingly the hotel was fully booked, unless I wanted a smoking room, I thought I was already in one as it smelled so strong. She said she would pass my info to a manager. I have not received a call but I did get my full bill, $261 for one night, the next morning. Avoid Room 805 if anyone is on their way there now.

Excellent Hotel. Nice Atrium with a free breakfast (pretty much a full buffet) and free happy hour from 5:30-7:30. Room was very nice and clean. Would stay again when in the area.

Property could use an update (aesthetically) but was very clean and comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful and especially the servers were kind.

Service: Not so exceptional

Posted Feb 25, 2015 on Hotels
This is a great hotel and location. The room was very comfortable and the amenities nice; however, after searching for a cash vending machine, I was told that the floor I was staying on only had a vending machine requiring a code. I was disapointed to be told by the staff that "I had not paid enough for my room to receive the code for fee snacks". Really? Yes, that is what I was told. I was also told that I "could pay an upcharge if I wanted that option". Wow, I may just take my own snacks next time OR stay somewhere else so I am not treated differently because I tried to save money on the room.

Dear Angel: I am sorry about the confusion on the credenza on the premium floor. Our Guest Services Representative should have explained it more helpfully. We rent rooms on the floor you were on at a premium rate which includes unlimited access to the snack credenza, a Keurig coffee maker and I-Tunes clock radio. I hope that the rest of your stay was pleasant. Thank you. I will use your comments to better coach our team on this service. Russ Smith General Manager
