Extended Stay - pleasing but need improvementsPosted May 20, 2013
Hotel overall was fine. We stayed between 9th May till 13 May 2013 at Tower Blvd hotel. Reception staff was pleasing and supporting. We faced two issues and hope hotel takes care of these (a) The shuttle to university was abruptly cancelled for the graduaiton day week end. (b) We requested for the room refreshment and paid charges for it. But the staff did not make up bed, which was the main reason for us to request for refresh. Staff did clear dustbin and kept new towels but that is all.

Ok RoomPosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: It was slow to where I needed to be.
Cons: Needs to be updated, also paid for 2 nights. Got back to my room the 2nd night and my key didn't work. Had to go all the way back to the office.
Location: Location was ok
The Experience of our stay was ok. Paid for 2 nights, got back to room after very long day on 2 night and my key would not work. Had to go all the way back to the office to get my key card redone. After a long day that's the last thing you want to deal with.

Adequate for Business TravelPosted Apr 7, 2013
Pros: Good coffee in the room, good location and good price
Cons: No ice available until traveler froze one's own, difficult to connect to internet.
Location: Located off major highway, midway between Duke Durham campus and NC @ Chapel Hill
Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and cooking facilities were available. Bed was comfortable and area quiet. Wide screen LED TV with many channels available. some issues were: telephone was dead, WiFi supposedly available free, but I could not connect and was charged $3.00 anyway. No ice available until empty trays frozen, which took about 5 hours. Free breakfast was quite meager. Soap was available, but no shampoo...since it is an extended stay motel, perhaps they expected us to bring our own. All in all, it was worth the price.

Location: good; everything else: badPosted Nov 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel needs a full gut/rehab. Everything was dirty, worn, outdated, moldy, etc. The bed and chair were comfortable, though. TV was obviously newer, but cable package is only about 20 channels. Appliances weren't great. Close to one fast-food and one quick service restaurant and a shopping center, close to UNC and Duke, close to I-40 and I-85, so location and neighborhood get good marks.

The pictures looked better than the actual room. Quiet and convenient location, but I don't think I would stay again.

Not all it claims to bePosted Aug 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
The room itself, was overall pretty good. It was clean and welcoming. They did not have very many cable channels which got to be annoying especially when working from home. They also did not have a business center which they claimed to have so I had to do all my printing at Kinkos down the street. If you plan to stay for a week buy yourself some dish soap because they do not supply any in the suites. Finally, my sink did not drain so when they came to clean my room there was some nasty stuff from the week. If you just need a place to sleep for a night or two and are in an office all day, it's pretty good. If you plan to work on things in your suite, I suggest bringing something else to keep you busy.
Police InvasionPosted Jul 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
Awful...the first room they put my employees in had a water leak...they then put them up in a different room but failed to note this in their records at the front desk...thus renting out the room to a duplicate occupant. When that occupant entered the room at 1:45 am they went to the front desk who called police and 6 police cars and 2 police dogs charged the room totally freaking out my employee. I will never use an Extended Stay Hotel again.
