I booked a king bed they only had a queen made no effort to compensate for the difference. Will not stay there again. They also do not clean the room. Guess u have to ask but they dont say that when u check in.

The property is located among a cluster of hotels, located in a safe and convenient area of town. This was our first stay at this Fairfield Inn and it was very disappointing. We were 'greeted' with smokers in the entry way! The decor was shabby and old. The room was TINY and the counterspace in the bathroom was TINY! The room's a/c and wall unit was LOUD, gurgling and disfunctional. The walls were super thin and we heard every sound. There was always a short supply/no supply of coffee! We had cold showers. It was such a shocking step below usual Marriott standards.

During one evening, kids were playing hockey in the stairwell and making lots of noise. I was awakened around 8;30pm and I stepped outside my door when your front desk staff member Iris was walking quickly toward the noise and got the kids to break it up. She tol me “I got this”. She seemed un-flustered and in control. My son who was staying with me reported that he was kept awake until around 1:00am due to excessive partying and drinking and noise by a large group of adults in the dining area. He reported that Iris was doing her best to break up the party and was apparently successful and my son was able to go back to sleep. I thanked Iris the following morning at breakfast for her efforts. She is a great employee!

the property was around other hotels, so it was easy to find, it was clean and comfortable. There was a very loud tenant next door that was not resolved, and the ice machine was out of order. Also, breakfast was promised from 09630-0930, and there was no breakfaster after 0800

Heating unit would not allow peaceful sleep. Every 15 minutes made a loud noise that woke me up! AWFUL! Not sure room was cleaned and disinfected. Waking up with some kind of cold and congestion. Will not stay here again.

Room could have been cleaner. Would not be able to sleep on pull out mattress. Breakfast was, well, don't book for that. Front staff very friendly. Property easy to reach from airport. Close to NC museum of art. Dinner option 2 hotels away.

Had to wait for room. Understand check-in is 4, but others were given rooms that arrived after me. I had asked for the 4th floor, assumed that is why I had to wait. Was eventually offered 4th floor. ?? The lady at the front desk was unconcerned. Took the room. Accommodations were typical other than the room provided only lukewarm water. I indicated this at checkout. The representative apologized. Approximately 200 for a one-night stay. Expected more. At least hot water. I have stayed there approximately 30 times. This will be my last.

The property was really comfortable and quiet. There was an issue with my remote though for my TV, sometimes I would have to press extra hard on the buttons to get them to work.

Very nice hotel , nice room. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast choices though. Wish there had been a small microwave in the room. Everyone there was very nice !!!

No Microwave but Great Stay
Great stay easy quick check in. Breakfast included and not just fruits and muffins so that’s a plus. Only thing I can say is we didn’t have a microwave in our room. How do you have a fridge without the microwave. Idk if every room is like that but 217 has no microwave. The hotel itself was quiet and I enjoyed my stay. Next time I’m gonna need a microwave. It’s inconvenient to have to go to the lobby/breakfast area and warm up food especially when I’m not on the first floor.

This hotel was incredibly clean and the check in/check out staff were so friendly. Beds were comfy and the whole place was nice. No weird smells (which is GREAT compared to most hotels!) Pool was open & breakfast is offered. We would definitely come back to stay again if ever in this area!

There were some weird stains on the bedsheet towards one side. Was too tired to report and change rooms. So slept on the other side. Looked like someone had used the room and sheets weren't changed after.

Angelina on Night Shift was so welcoming and friendly. There are a lot of options in that area and I would return to this hotel just because the employee obviously loved her job and made me feel comfortable. Great customer service.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to dining and shopping (if you have a car ... not great for walking there). The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. The lobby staff was excellent. I would definitely return.

The woman in charge of the continental breakfast was wonderful! She was welcoming, accommodating and kept the area well stocked and clean. She made you feel like you were a guest at her home.
