“Great for the Price”

Great location for visiting Duke. Stayed for 3 days. Located right on highway 85, so made it easy to get to all the areas we wanted to visit. Not located in the best area of town. But the room was very nice and the breakfast was great. Felt very safe. Good lighting and good parking

We only stayed one night in the hotel, but it was very clean and very comfortable. Did not encounter any problems checking in or out. Very friendly staff.

Everything was very clean and checkin was about the most efficient I have ever experienced. They seemed very organized. There were a few tiny downsides: The heat pump was a bit noisy, and the view was partly blocked by a roof. In spite of this, I found my stay very pleasant and never felt I lacked for anything. The front desk seemed eager to please.

“Very friendly and clean!”

We were running way behind arrival schedule and called to say we would be very late. The desk clerk said not to worry. Even though we arrived after midnight, we could not have been treated in a more friendly "family" manner. We truly appreciated that. The room was clean and everything worked! (unfortunately you can't take that for granted anymore...) This hotel is within spitting distance of I-85 which makes it very convenient for travellers on this interstate. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express!

“I Would Recommend To Other Travelers”

This was my first time in Durham, NC and the reason I chose Holiday Inn Express Durham because it was conveniently located for my business activity. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and if I am in Durham, NC again, I would not hesitate to return. The staff was efficient and helpful. Overall Holiday Inn Express Durham was very clean and comfortable.

This is a very good motel. It is conveniently located fo the Interestate and to downtown and Duke University. Has a great hot breakfast. Rooms nicely remodeled and clean.

Room layout was nice and open. Loved the mini couch and coffee table. Could actually relax and work in the room. Great value

“Surprisingly Awesome”

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was much cleaner than most more expensive hotels I have stayed in. We did not want to splurge, because we were only in town for 2 days and would not be in the hotel much. The only "unflattering" thing about the room was a cheese cracker I happened to see under the air conditioner; it didn't look really old either. We were on the edge of the non-smoking section of the hotel and the entire floor smelled like cigarettes in the hallway, but the room itself did not smell of cigarette smoke. Despite these two aspects, it was well worth the money. It's hard to find an extremely clean hotel with updated rooms. I often cringe when I walk into a room and it's not noticeably clean upon entrance. Very nice very clean and the breakfast wasn't too shabby. I would return to this hotel.
