“Aunt Mary's funeral”

The staff was great. We were traveling with our 91 year old father and the staff was so helpful and accommodating.

“Pleased”

I spent a night here in order to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel looks well kept, the room was very clean. I did get my wake up call and breakfast was fine. The only problem was the desk clerk did not schedule me for the shuttle at 7 and there was no one there to drive it the next morning. They called me a taxi that was there by 7 and paid for my fare. I was very pleased that they got me to the airport on time and free!

“good for the price”

I usually stay at a Hilton Garden Inn but this hotel was half the price so I decided to give it a try since I usually arrive late and only stay one night. The room was fine and the TV was actually better than at the Hilton. The TV was HD with HD service, not the highest end HD but still better than any other hotel TV I have ever seen. I don't know why hotels are so slow to move to HD tv so this was a nice surprise.

“Fantastic stay, even better price”

Booked 2 rooms for a night. Traveling from Columbus, OH to Holden Beach, NC and wanted to stay in Durham to watch the Bulls. The hotel was right off 40 east and just minutes from the Bulls ballpark, the area seemed to be very nice. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Had a double non-smoking - the room was more spacious than most hotels, especially for the money. Continental breakfast was adequate - the only hot item were waffles that could be made, or toast could be made as well. But, again, for the money it was a great stay.

“Great Stay”

Great Stay! I will stay there again on my next visit to Durham. The room was very clean and maintained. The towels and sheets was freash and not over used. I stayed at Red Roof Inn the last couple of time I visited Durham, but La Quinta is well worth the additional $20 or so dollars.

“Loved it!”

For the money, this was the best hotel I've stayed in! Everything was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful! I will absolutely stay there again when we are in that area. Thanks!
