“Basic but satisfactory.”

For an overnight stay, this motel was fine for the price. No in-room coffee pot, nor continental breakfast.

“Fine but not fancy”

Everything was clean. The staff was friendly. The location was nice and quiet. Just FYI, the address is a bit misleading as you need to enter from a side street and not the street it is listed as being on.

“Get what you pay for”

Was looking for an inexpensive room for only one night. Just needed about 7 hours sleep. Room had just the bare necessities. Wouldn't have been so bad except the sheets looked like they had not been changed (stains...yuk!) I requested fresh ones. The staff was very nice, but had trouble finding any clean ones. Good thing I always travel with my sleeping bag. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Odd characters roaming the parking lot. I will go elsewhere and pay a little more next time.

Area recommendations

I would recommend staying closer to the UNC campus. The motels/hotels are nicer and the neighborhoods seem safer.

“Not going there again”

The hotel smelled like smoke; the room was musty. Not at all comfortable.

“Clean with the bare necessities”

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. No iron or hair dryer, just the basic necessities. Great location. Would stay there again.

Area recommendations

Every time I go to Chapel Hill I have to go to my favorite store - A Southern Season. Touring UNC campus was beautiful (I do live in a desert, so the green landscape was breathtaking).

“Chapel Hill Convenience”

The hotel was fine except the cleaning staff failed to clean up the room on the last day. We checked in on Friday and out the following Tuesday. When we arrived back on Monday evening for our last night, no one had been in to make the beds or leave fresh towels. The room was not cleaned on Monday while we were out.

perfect location close to everything you need and all the colleges. plenty of parking, quiet private rooms and entrances. very friendly staff.

The hotel is nice, for the money. I was elated when I saw the cleaning people cleaning down the room next to mine, wiping down all of the surfaces as well as changing all of the linen and towels. My room was just as clean and I had the satisfaction of knowing the same diligence had been spent on my room!!
