THE WORST!!!!

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: NOTHING, OTHER THAN CONVENIENT LOCATION. INITIALLY ATTRACTED BY THE PRICE...BIG MISTAKE!!!
Cons: BEYOND REDEMPTION!!!!!! IT WAS SO BAD THAT I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY RED ROOF AGAIN...NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORSE. NO SOAP PROVIDED SHEETS WERE STRIPPED OFF THE BED BUT NOT REPLACED. I WAS HANDED THE FRESH SHEETS AND TOLD TO FIX THE BED MYSELF, IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT I HAD JUST BROKEN MY COLLAR BONE THAT MORNING(REALLY). I TOLD THE REP THAT I WAS UNABLE; HE SAID "HE DID NOT KNOW HOW". ' GARBAGE NOT EMPTIED

good stay over all

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Close to school where we were going, staff very courteous.
Cons: Check rooms to make sure everything is working before allowing quest to enter.
Was attending daughter's graduation, room was clean, bed comfortable. TV remote wouldn't work, front desk delivered one to the room. Enjoyed stay.

Traveling to check out a concert at the DPAC

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Seeing it in my rear view mirror........
This hotel was much further away from the DPAC than had led to believe. Upon arriving, I checked in, they had our room reserved. Was given the card / key and told where the room is located. Walked into the room with all our luggage, something didn't look right. The room was FILTHY, never been cleaned since the last guests. Went back to lobby, told them about the room. They never said they were sorry, no apologies, just moved us to another room. Get to THAT room, the A/C is not working properly. We figured it may have to run and adjust.....But it kept getting warmer. Call the lobby (again),, they sent a maintenance guy to look at it. He said it's "working OK, it will cool off". We leave for about two hours, come back and it's even warmer! Call the lobby ( AGAIN ), they said they would send the guy back up....Waited a longer than usual time, no show for him. I GO to the lobby, tell them about it again, and we have to get going to the DPAC right away: They said they would have to switch A/C units out. This means someone will be in our room while we are gone, anything can take place. I though about the episode the whole time we were at the show and couldn't get the entire situation off my mind. I call the general manager to file a compliant, no answer. Called three times, left message, still no reply from him.

Terrible place

Posted May 7, 2014
Rooms are disgusting!! Room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The floors were sticky and the bathroom was filthy! I only made it through one night and woke up at dawn to get out of there a quickly as possible!

Nice convenient hotel

Posted May 2, 2014
My fiance and I went and stay at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was very conveniently located 8 mins away from a variety of restaurants and a shopping center. The room that we had was a superior king with ample space to work (I had to do a bit of work during my stay) and we particularly love the cherry-smelling soap that the hotel provides.

Close to Expressway

Posted Apr 29, 2014
My lowest rate room would not have worked. The sink was plugged and there was noisy construction going on outside my room. The staff member said I should have noticed the construction signs but how could I see those when I booked on line. After I pleaded that I was exhausted from a long drive she put me in a better room on the third floor. It was very nice and my stay was great. I'm glad I moved up because there were "street entrepreneurs" hanging out every day in the area of the original room.

Easy Access to/from Highway

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Cons: Wash the floors. Provide a small shelf for toiletries in the bathroom.
Location: Jordan Lake is a beautiful spot. Hillsborough BBQ is SO worth the drive -the best ribs, collards, & slaw. The Pig has the best catfish & mac/cheese!
The room was okay, but the floor was not very clean. It's wood laminate floor with rug under the bed - it appeared swept/vacuumed, but not washed. When I wiped water from the bathroom floor the towel was very dirty! Otherwise, not bad as far as linens, toilet, tub, and sink. Overall, the grounds were quiet for a weekend stay.

Quite fine for the price

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Staff, access to eateries.
Cons: Thicker walls
Location: Close to all the amenities of the Triangle.
Overall good stay. Staff were very polite and helpful. Only issue was thinness of walls, a child crying at about 4:30 am was impossible to ignore. Near a lot of restaurants and easy on off to highway.

Nice for the price

Pros: Rooms were large and bathroom was very large.
Cons: Wish there would have been a hair dryer and an iron in the room.
Location: Mall, parks, restaurants, colleges.....
The rooms were clean and roomy. Good location with easy access to quite a bit of stuff.
