Great remodel couple little things need more workPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: Clean new remodel price
Cons: Pillows, heater needed cleaning
Location: Didn't see much, but only a mile or two from downtown, easy free public parking
Quiet, safe area. Remodel pictures were accurate, room looked great. Hard wood floors (no gnarly carpet) Pillows were as comfortable as sacks of cement. Safe was large enought to hold a half dozen laptops, but didn't lock. Phones were all disconnected in the middle of a rewiring project, bare wires exposed, screws lying on night stand pulled away from wall. Didn't bother me, but might not be best bit for small kids, until remodel finished.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this hotel. Although it was clean and modern looking--some details where left out that would have made our experience better. Our room only had 1 trash can and it was located near the "desk" area of the room rather than in its most useful place: near the sink/restroom area. It would have been nice to have an additional trash can in the restroom as well. We also only had 2 towels at our disposal and they were rather small and stiff. Facial tissue was also provided but in the format of a small travel plastic square rather than in a square container for easier access.

clean but sketchyPosted Nov 10, 2013
Despite appearing nice and the room being clean, there were alot of suspicious things going on. Immediately we noticed a potent smell of marijuana in the hallways, the elevator was vandalized with numerous key scratchings, and plenty of late night activity coming in and out of the rooms/hotel. Bizarre...

My stay at Red Roof InnPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness and newness.
Cons: Having troublesome guests removed from their room.
Location: Great location. Very near to downtown and the farmers market.
The hotel itself was very nice. Clean and welcoming. Our neighbors next to us, however, were horrible. We had to call the front desk twice in the middle of the night and then we finally went to the front desk at about 3:00am to try to get our neighbors to calm down. They were blarring loud music, slamming the door, and laughing extremely loud. We had our son, who is 3 years old, staying in our room and needless to say, none of us got any sleep that night. The hotel was going to refund our money but because we booked it through Expedia they could not refund us.

Fantastic HotelPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Also the price was right for a budget stay.
Cons: Well, the elevator went out, and luckily we weren't in it. But it was a small incident that was fixed quickly.
Location: The state fair was in town, so that was available. There are plenty of malls and shopping centers in the matter of minutes.
The hotel room and the facilities were exceptionally clean and nice. The staff was excellent and friendly. They always wanted to help their guests.
