Clean and comfy room. Several acres of grass in back for dogs to run.

It's fine.

Clean and convenient. The breakfast is a joke (a muffin, water, and some oatmeal and a granola bar if you want it).

Clean, no frills. Good value for the price.

Pros: It was clean, friendly, and had free wifi
Cons: More inviting breakfast. I think there was only coffee- and maybe fruit?
Location: It is near a nature trail that is one the way to the convention center area about 45 minute walk.
The hotel was everything I asked- a clean, not too expensive, place to sleep. Bed was comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, but it had a bed, a bathroom and was clean. It also had free wifi which I was happy with. I kept having to get my key card re-actived in the evening, but this was not a big deal. They ordered me a taxi to get back to the airport which was an airport shuttle. I did not realize this and it was more expensive than the regular taxi I had taken to the hotel. The hotel is about 1.5 mi from the convention center area, which is walkable if you take some back roads ( a reasonably pleasant walk, but not very convenient (about 45 minutes). It was not clear how to take the bus safely because of the large highway. The taxi cost about $10 to get into town.

Not my favorite

Cons: Breakfast, a water bottle and a packaged danish is not breakfast. Likewise providing actual milk/cream (as opposed to the powdered stuff)
I traveled to Raleigh for a conference and this hotel was listed as an option. The presence of other conference participants "saved" this experience for me, were it not for them it would have felt a bit sketchy. One of the selling points was the proximity to the convention center (less than 1.5 mi) being fit I planned to walk to and fro only to find out that the only way to get from one to another was on a highway so a taxi was a must. Likewise there was no place within walking distance to get food.

decent room no clue what the plus is for

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: low cost not a bad location
Cons: the continental breakfast is a water bottle and an industrial Danish. have stayed in regular red roof inns and had waffles cereal and bagels.
Location: on a highway. not much nearby. was visiting duke and nc state.
room was clean. parking good. price good. staff was ok. not sure what makes this a red roof plus. no restaurant. no pool. no work out facility. just a room.

Great Stay, Great Price

I was recently here for a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay . The room was updated , clean and quite comfortable . There are not a lot of amenities if that's something you're looking for but it provided the basics with a splash of modern features . I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in town.

Expected More

The hotel was decorated like a a spare, college dorm room. Having to ask for a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board...are you kidding? The desk couldn't or wouldn't give change. Breakfast was a complete joke - a packet of oatmeal in a tiny styrofoam bowl with non-hot water. How depressing.

It's Just Okay

Pros: Location to city center.
Cons: Cleanliness, quality linens, ironing board, hair dryer are standard in all rooms.
Location: Raleigh convention center, Natural Science Museum, many restaurants and nightlife.
The room d├ęcor is modern and spacious, with laminate flooring and not carpet which would have bee great if the flooring was mopped daily. And their grab-and-go breakfast was terrible, one bottled water and a Sara Lee blueberry muffin in a white paper lunch bag, we didn't eat it because the calorie and fat content was through the roof! And that means a lot since we aren't that healthy of eaters. Ironing board and hair dryers automatic only in up graded room, what they call Red Roof +Plus.

East access off and on I40

Pros: Clean room and no pet fees
Computer problems caused a long wait to check in. There are no amenities but the motel was very clean. I would stay there again.
