I was very impressed by this Residence Inn. Beautiful scenery (outdoor pool area is gorgeous), VERY clean, and the staff was incredible! The front-desk staff was so helpful (doubled as our shuttle driver and helped us navigate). My niece is headed to UNC and we will stay here every time we visit her.

Nice apartments, close to downtownPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The apartment we rented was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped. It's a very comfortable place, the bed is really good for a full night of sleep. It's only a few minutes drive to downtown, and there are shops nearby (though not near enough to walk to). The breakfast served is very good, with quite a few options available. All in all, a wonderful place to spend a weekend.

Temporary homePosted May 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The three night stay was just perfect after selling our house. The facilities and amenities were beyond our expectations since we never had occasion to utilize a long term residence before. A+

Beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant staff. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, TV was a little small, but a large screen is a short walk away in the lobby. We will definitely stay again when we visit the area.

Wonderful timePosted Apr 18, 2013
Pros: Everything it was clean. comfortable and the staff were amazing.
Location: It was perfect. easy to access and close to the UNC-Cancer Hospital.
This was a wonderful place. My husband has cancer and is on a special diet when getting ready for test. We were able to cook and had plenty of room, and it was so clean.

We were in Chapel Hill visiting our daughter at UNC. We hosted two other daughters for 5 nights and had 5 college friends in our 1 bedroom studio for Easter Sunday brunch. It worked just fine with a little assistance. We thought we had a full oven in the kitchen but found out that only two bedrooms have this and these were already booked. The manager was so gracious that she baked our ham and rolls for us in the kitchen to solve our problem. The housekeeping staff went out of their way and made our stay so easy. Next time we will book a two bedroom if available. The breakfast was included and very generous with good coffee, real Quaker oatmeal, nice selection of fruit and so forth. We did not eat hot items. Very clean with a huge lobby and sitting areas plus plenty of tables inside and on patio. We would choose this again and found it to be a great location near fantastic grocery stores, shopping and easy access to campus. The only problem was the sofa bed which was so uncomfortable that our girls slept on the floor part of the night. The cot was comfortable and wide and I think two shared this one night. Overall we had a fantastic stay and used the kitchen to cook each day. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a high end food delicacy place is super close called Southern Seasons. We also did our laundry in their clean guest laundry inside the building in a pleasant location. Thumbs up!
