Perfect location. Beautiful, old world charm. Could be a little more tidy and clean. After checking in, empty coke bottle from last occupants between the bed and chair next to the window. By no means unkept.
The Carolina Inn is a very attractive hotel--beautiful architecture and lovely interior design. From the bellman to the servers in the restaurant--all staff are courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable--the mattresses, pillows and sheets and bedding were superior.
Every aspect of this property is wonderful, particularly the history, character and pleasant attitude of the welcoming employees. A fabulous place to spend time, and in a delightful city.
The Carolina Inn is the perfect place to stay in Chapel Hill! Beautifully updated but still full of historic charm. Great on site restaurant and also a grab and go coffee area. The location is ideal… convenient to town and university but tucked away on a quiet street. We also received impeccable service from front desk, house keeping and valet.
We absolutely loved this hotel, when visiting our UNC student. It’s right across campus, has great parking, courteous & helpful staff, is very clean & decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed it and will be sure to return again & again!
We loved our stay at the Carolina Inn. The rooms were so comfortable, the beds superb, and the dining restaurant was delicious. Our waiter had great suggestions. The grounds are beautiful, and we loved the ability to walk to campus or Franklin Street. It’s a treat for our family to stay!
Overall a fantastic place to stay in historic Chapel Hill. The place is gorgeous and after a very long drive from Florida to New Jersey, we had a stop in NC. Glad we chose this place. The restaurant/ bar was very nice and the staff are very friendly. The only suggestion is that I’m not a coffee drinker, so only having a Nespresso in the room, without an option for hot water was a bit disappointing.
This is a classic Chapel Hill hotel. We always love our stay here! Beautiful rooms and lobby! The front porch is always a great place for an evening cocktail! Recent updates look great!
