Close to downtown area, shopping and restaurants.

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Comfort, quiet and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: UNC and Duke gardens are close. Great restaurants nearby.
We always stay at the Siena Hotel when we're in Chapel Hill. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, very clean,

The staff was customer focused! Very much like a Ritz Carlton. Great location to UNC, rooms were large and beyond clean. Be sure to pour yourself some sweet tea at main door entrance, best sweet tea ever.

Great hotel!

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Very close to amenities and great for visiting kids at UNC.
Cons: The in-hotel dining option isn't great for breakfast -- but there are plenty of good breakfast options in the immediate vicinity.
Location: UNC is within a minute. There are malls and shopping within walking distance, even though it is a pleasant residential neighborhood.
We've stayed at the Siena a number of times -- it is convenient, very comfortable, and unfussy.

High-end feel in college town

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Spacious rooms - one was a corner queen with lots of room, over-all felt clean, new, classy
Cons: Bathroom had few towel bars or hooks, workout room small and TV very limited in it, exit on to Franklin St difficult with traffic sometimes
Location: Running trail very close by, downtown CH minutes away by car, easy exit from Chapel Hill to Durham and points east.
The staff were high-touch and attentive. Check-in was very personally handled. Rooms were spacious, parking was easy, rooms were fresh feeling

We had a wonderful time in Chapel Hill this weekend. A large part of that was consistent quality of the Siena and the professionalism of the staff. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. My recommendation of the Siena is unqualified. It's a great place to stay.

Loved it.

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: The welcome and check in. The room.
Cons: A little wear and tear in our room, carpet had some tearing. Just showed some signs of aging.
Location: Great if you have a car, because you probably want to go away from the hotel location further than you want to walk.
We were greeted with come in, sit down , can we get you something to drink while we get you registered. Room was large, and pretty, beds were very comfy. Loved the balconies. Staff was more than willing to help you or leave you alone, whatever you want. The restaurant there was way beyond my expectations. And I was delighted to hear a pianist there, though I was told it might be his last night as they were going to redo that area. I've actually thought about going back just to hear the pianist, and that's a flight away for me. But as it is, I have no reason to return to the area. If I did I would stay here again, and if they kept the pianist going I might come back for no reason.
