“Great Hotel, Pretty Town”

Excellent hotel, service was perfect. Room very comfortable. Hotel breakfast was great and included eggs, bacon, sausage and a fresh orange juice maker as well as the usual European fare. Location was great - right in the middle of town next to the Chateau and at the end of the main street with lots of shopping. Saturday is market day, so limited parking available - but fun to walk around and see all the French wares. Town is very pretty and had beautiful Christmas lights.

“Hotel Mercure, Rambouillet”

We had an la excellent large room and bathroom. Staff very helpful, copious buffet breakfast but a bit pricey at 14 euros for standard of food. Although the carpark opposite is a pay and display and not available twice a week for markets, there is free parking in the grounds of the chaeau only 5 mins walk away, and helpful staff will direct you to it. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel.
