great stay

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The price was very reasonable for the size of the room and the available facilities.
Cons: I had asked the staff at the front desk for Catholic churches in the area and he wasn't able to help. He also gave me the wrong check out time.
The room was very spacious and comfortable and we were very surprised to find out that we had a "living room adjacent to the room. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, having 2 bathrooms was awesome as well. I only wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the room and the facilities. We were only there for an overnight stay so we are thinking of coming back and staying a few days.

Nice environment, but rooms need to be upgraded

Posted Jun 17, 2015
It is in a very nice neighborhood and good environment. However, rooms need to be upgraded. The sink in our bathroom smelled really stinky once we turned on the water, think might be sewer problem. Carpet in our room wasn't too clean.

Great place close to Del Mar with a great value. The rooms are nice, some of the esthetics are not being updated so the carpets and the baseboards could be updated. For me this was no big deal the hotel had a good restaurant, gym, and pool. I would defiantly stay there again.

Great place to relax, play a few rounds & explore

Posted May 26, 2015
The hotel is a little outdated. They do provide wifi but it tends to be a weak signal. Due to its location wireless service to cell phones is also weak. Over all friendly staff, good location and beautiful course. I will definitely return.

Morgan run, running downhill… Fast

Posted May 19, 2015
The grounds and they clubhouse and dining areas are very nicely kept. The separate buildings with the guestrooms are in terrible need of maintenance and updating. The door frames and baseboards need paint, the furniture needs to be replaced or at least a stain pen taken to them, the carpet squares in the hallway need to have the corners reglued all the corners. The difference between the guest rooms and the common areas, being the lobby, the dining areas and the country club are night and day

Nice and Quiet

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Quiet area. Pool and hot tub.
Cons: Bed upgrade to softer pillow top type.
Location: Close to many golf courses, 2 miles away whole foods, 20 min away to beach, close to race track and horse arena.
I stayed at this hotel/resort because of location. It is older buildings although the bathrooms had been remolded. Bedding is new but beds were rather hard and uncomfortable. The area is residential and nice and quiet. The pool area is quite nice. Hotel staff could be more engaging and do a better job at explaining the resort upon check in.

In Dire Need of Renovation

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: Grounds are pretty.
Cons: Carpeting, the building where we stayed, the condition of the room interior.
While the clubhouse and grounds were very nice, the buildings were on the point of being dilapidated. The carpeting in the room was filthy and I didn't feel comfortable wearing my socks around the unit. The sink the bathroom had a stopper that wouldn't stay up so either you would stop up the sink or would have to pull out the stopper altogether to get the water to drain. The beds were nice as were the quantity of pillows. However, everything else was just really old and in need of replacement. The walls were paper thin and noises from above and next door could clearly be heard. I was awakened by loud music one night and someone running water on another night. The 'business center' was just one part of the clubhouse (open area) with iPads that wouldn't connect to the internet. It was one of the main reasons I booked with this particular hotel. I didn't get a chance to see the gym. Some of the front desk people were nice. One of four staff members was not especially friendly. I did appreciate Linde and Katelyn's assistance.

Nice Views

Posted May 11, 2015
I stayed in a suite with a view of the golf course. Very nice to be able to sit on balcony with such pretty view.
