“Nice place for your Mt Rushmore visit”

The room was one of the better ones in this Motel, with a balcony. Very Comfortable, actually the best of our weeks trip. Next time I will book direct though.

Area recommendations

Good access to Mt Rushmore without the price and poor service of the closer motels. Worth the drive!

“"Not What I Expected"”

I was a little surprised at the condition of the hotel I thought it would've been a little more modern. By far the best thing about this hotel is its location. It is over priced for what one gets. The thing not to be missed is that there is a great little restaurant right next to the hotel, CH Bar and Grill, which had great food and friendly staff.

Area recommendations

We did the tourist things and Mt. Rushmore is an absolute must see as well as Crazy Horse.

Must see

Going to Wall is a day drive but well worth it. Don't miss the Wounded Knee Museum. It is very rich in history and gives another perspective of American expansion.

“Nice, clean experience”

The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly varied and good. I was very happy with this hotel and would stay there again or recommend it to others.

“rapid city”

Street level with easy access, very clean, wifi worked well, good coffee in room, the breakfast was good, juice, cereal, waffles, biscuits/gravy, toast, coffee, seating was comfortable, room had a table to work on, there was adequate storage, we were very pleased and would stay there again.

“WAS NOT THE 3 STAR HOTEL THAT IT WAS RATED”

WHEN I BOOKED THE TRIP. STATED IT WAS A 3 STAR HOTEL...NOT!!!. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT SMALL. THE FLOOR JOICE'S BETWEEN THE FLOOR WAS EXTREMELY SQUEAKY AS WE HEARD THE 900 TRIPS TO THE BATHROOM AND BACK AND FORTH ACROSS THE ROOM OF THE PERSON ABOVE US DURING THE NIGHT. IT WAS A NON-SMOKING ROOM ALL AROUND US BUT THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR SMOKED OUTSIDE BETWEEN OUR ROOMS! YUCK! THE HOUSEMAID KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR AT 8AM TO SEE IF WE WANTED MAID SERVICE THAT DAY...SO MUCH FOR TRYING TO SLEEP.

“Some where near Salina Lord”

Don't stay here unless you have a car. Once I was dropped off here I found they did have room service, of sorts, until ten. It was ten already. I tried to walk to one of many local well lit restaurants. All were closed, even the Subway. They just liked to leave all their lights on. The wifi was broke. The TV was fuzzy. The room was uphill across a dimly lit parking lot with uneaven surfaces, some roped off for resurfacing. The cab service was terrible in town, not the hotels fault, but a complication to its remote location. The cabby I swear was drunk, cigarettes filling all the ash trays, and a smell that made breathing a pain. The manager was apologetic about the lack of internet anywhere on the premises, but couldn't do anything.
