unfair servicePosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: it's new
Cons: free breakfast would be nice
Location: Mt. Rushmore The Badlands
Had to reduce our vacation by one day due to freezing rain and driving conditions and hotel staff would not refund us for the night we cancelled.

Lovely hotelPosted Nov 12, 2013
This is a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend it. The hotel is new and stylishly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and had terrific pillows and lovely bedding. We stayed in a king suite which included two flat screen TVs and a small fridge and a microwave. The bath had nice amenities also. My only complaint about the room was that it was very warm, even when we turned down the thermostat, and the windows don't open. The hotel includes a bar and restaurant, which is very convenient, but I thought the food was very average.

Great HotelPosted Nov 8, 2013
Location: Great location to all the sights near Rapid City
Couldn't be happier with Cambria Suites, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Perfectly located, easy routes to the major sights.

Great hotel in the blizzardPosted Oct 7, 2013
Cons: The bar could have a wider selection
Location: Close to Mt Rushmore - if only it had been open!
We got caught in the blizzard in Rapid City. Staff were wonderful under the circumstances. Room very comfortable and clean. Would recommend.

Pleasantly Surprised!Posted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: The design of the suites. Very comfortable, and the sitting area was sufficiently separated from the sleeping area, allowing for a multi-use space.
Cons: Better food offerings.
Location: Nice location on the freeway. Nice amenities nearby and restaurants.
I never stayed at Cambria Suites previously. My Hotel of choice is Hilton Garden Inn, but the Cambria has surprised me with the quality of the services offered, cleanliness of the rooms, the 24/7 fitness center and pool, plus the great and comfortable design of the suites and contemporary furnishings. I will actively look for a Cambria Suites in the next city I visit.

Surprised !Posted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Excellent !!!!! See above.
Cons: Cannot think of a thing except ...there should be MORE of this Brand + CAMBRIA !!
Location: Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Deadwood, Sturgis, Rapid City !! Sooo much to see and do !
This was our first time at a Cambria Suites. We were VERY pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. It is a modern, clean hotel with excellent decoration. The bedding so comfortable. The staff was MORE than helpful and friendly. I am an "Easterner" and have never heard of this Brand. You can be sure that I will seek them out any other time I travel !

Convenient to Rapid Ciry and SitesPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Convenient, clean, newer hotel
Cons: The double queen bed area is a little tight. Not enough room on the side to walk around one of the beds.
Location: Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Crazy Horse, downtown historic Rapid City, Custer Park
The hotel was nice and clean and offered a nice common area to relax and visit. Eatery on site provided good food; expect to pay for breakfast.

Close to shopping and downtownPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: The clean room, service, and friendly staff. Location was also good.
We were in Rapid City for business and a little relaxation. This hotel was ideal for our needs. We were able to get to downtown Rapid within ten to fifteen minutes. There are two shopping centers (Rushmore Mall and a newer outdoor mall) within a 5 minute drive. The hotel is in an area that is just being developed, eventually this will be a really nice area. There were no less than ten restaurants within 10 minutes of the hotel. The hotel staff was wonderful, polite, and friendly. They were businesslike and really on top of things. There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel. We did not use it so I can not comment other than to say it looked quite inviting. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The price of the rooms were comparable to other hotels in the area.
