“Very nice experience, incompatible breakfast style”
I really liked it here. The location is fantastic. In the middle of the woods, perfect silence, clean air, perfect night sky view. The owners are very friendly, you really feel welcomed here (there's a strong personal touch in guest relationships). A rather minor issue was with the breakfast serving style. It's not a bar so they bring stuff to the tables. If you have stranger eating habits (like we did, we had a lot more butter, jam and almost nothing else) then it's somewhat annoying to keep asking the girl that was serving for more bread and butter (had to ask 3 times) when she is very busy serving all the guests at the table. Also, the rooms are pretty small, we only stayed one night so that wasn't an issue but it may be for some.
“Overall Good”
This is in a nice calm location. Only con is the internet, which is not a big deal.
“A Wonderful place to stay”
Our stay at Coyote Blue was more then satisfactory. The owners running the place is super nice, the place was beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, better then a 5 star hotel! We are so pleased with our stay.
“Lets get some manners.”
Upon arrival there was a question about our room as booked which was verified with the paper work to indeed be a queen not twin beds. The hostess immediatly took a "it's not my fault and not yours" stance instead of being apologetic. We took a self guided tour and ventured with out knowledge to a private area. We quickly abandoned the mistake but upon check out were reprimanded like 3 year olds. Check out is @ 11 and at 9 am not once not twice but at least 3 times she questioned when could she retrieve the key to our room. I would send her to manners camp.
“Great Experience!”
Bedroom a little small, but hosts very friendly and helpful. Especially liked breakfast and friendliness of other guests. Great sharing experience.
“We'll Be Back!”
We went here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. They make you feel right at home the second you walk in the door. They have 2 cats that wander around the property (which is huge), so you'll see them randomly throughout the day. It's located about 20 minutes from anything you'd want to see or do in the black hills area, whether it's Deadwood or Mt. Rushmore or anything in between. We will definitely be back and we have already recommended this b&b to our family and friends.
“Good B&B”
Nice, isolated, good rates.
“Can't wait to gp back”
Except for the weather, our stay was wonderful. We would go back in a minute.
“A Delight”
Coyote Blues provided a wonderful, relaxing environment for our recent two night stay. The staff provided a gracious blend of availability and freedom without any sense of being hovered over or watched. Our room was comfortable and clean and the quest areas were simply perfect. The breakfasts were wonderful, taking us back to stays in Switzerland, with a family feel.
“Swiss Charm Hotel”
We thoroughly enjoyed stating at Coyote Blues Village B & B! The setting was scenic, quiet, and inspiring. The hotel itself is just like a Swiss chalet and our Swiss hosts couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, and efficient. The mountain scenery and meadows were simply delightful and we enjoyed our walks. Highly recommended!
