Hilton Garden Inn Rapid City

Staffs are very nice. Their shuttle is very convenient (I think there are a few taxis in Rapid City.)

This stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The total experience was excellent and we would recommend this facility without hesitation.

Room was a little warm and wish they had a free breakfast but overall very nice hotel!

1) Enjoyed that it was close to great shopping & excellent restaurants, Service was fabulous; great attention to detail and inquired as to our needs. Loved the decor!

We stayed for 3 nights on a family vacation during the off season (Last week of September - GREAT time to go to Black Hills!). A minor issue, but I was a little put-off at first that I had requested an upper-level room several weeks in advance. The hotel was obviously mostly empty during our stay, yet we were put on the first floor (The rude man next to me was put on the top floor AND given a gift bag. Maybe the top floor is reserved for their rewards members?). Great central location for everything on our agenda. Easy and quick to get to the highway, but far enough away from any noise to get a quiet night of sleep. We didn't eat at the hotel since breakfast was not included, but there are many food choices nearby. Room was tastefully decorated and hotel is obviously newer. Bed was comfy enough, but next time I'd bring my own pillow! Our room was clean, but it was obvious to me that our bathroom was not cleaned each day (Although I am probably pickier than most). Small but nice pool/spa area, which we used twice. I couldn't help but notice a large slimy hairball thing in the corner of the spa both days - Ick. In summary, I never felt like anyone there went above-and-beyond for us, but it was a pleasant stay and I would likely stay there again.

The hotel was relatively new when we stayed there so condition and upkeep were not issues. Our room had all the usual amenities and features -- comfortable bed and chairs, good workspace. HVAC was a little noisy, but kept the room at the desired temperature. Breakfast service and selection was very good -- price reasonable at $9.95. Surprisingly good dinner menu though we did not eat in the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very beneficial to have a restaurant with good food in the hotel. We ate supper at the restaurant and breakfast the next day. the staff were very professional and accomodating within the hotel and the restaurant. I would recommend it.

Hotel seemed new...and Bev's restaurant adjacent to the hotel is a must for dinner al fresco, by the River. Great experience and I would stay here again (this was my first time, decided to spend a few extra bucks, well worth the "chance")
