Very nice place to stay!!

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: It was quiet and easy to get to and everyone was very friendly.
Cons: Vending machines in a better location.
Location: Mcdonalds was in walking distance. Gas station c-store in walking distance. Was located on the Mt Rushmore exit off I 90.
We were treated very well. We had 2 dogs and a service dog and were only charged the pet fee for 2 of them. No charge for the service dog. The continental breakfast was good lots of choices. The staff was very helpful when the children were getting food. They helped them reach things that were to high and dish food to their plates. Was a very clean place to stay. Has a nice pool and hot tub. Quiet place to stay. Was easy to get to right off of I 90. We will be back again when we are in Rapid City..

Clean, comfortable, and dog friendly.

Clean, comfortable, and dog friendly. We stayed at the LaQuinta next door a few weeks before while passing through and found the Sleep Inn to be much more quiet and pleasant--largely because it lacks a waterpark. If you are an adult traveling with a pet and want a comfortable, clean place to stay for a reasonable rate in Rapid City, this is it.

Comfy beds great breakfast close to Airport 15 min

For those travelling to Rapid City. I recommend you hire a car if you want to see the surrounds. Very limited public transport in Rapid City. We travelled to Keystone and Hill City and had to get a taxi as there is no public transport. The day bus tour to Mount Rushmore, the Needle Highway and Crazy Horse was informative and would recommend it. Bruce Sansome. Australia

Friendly staff on reception

The only drawback for this hotel was that I had a noisy family and yapping dog next to me, but luckily it didn't last long! Great location for moving on the next morning

This hotel was above what we expected. The employees were very informative and friendly. They went above and beyond to allow us to feel welcome. Enjoyed our stay very much and will stay there the next time we are in Rapid city.

This hotel was excellent, the beds were so comfortable ~ not the typical rock beds you usually find in hotels. The staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served for 3 hours each day and was kept well stocked the entire time. The ease for getting to all local attractions from this hotel was excellent. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip out west...

Great Hotel for Family

Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, food and location.
Cons: None.
Location: Terrific and very centered to all touring locations.
The hotel and personnel were excellent. I recently filled out a survey but was asked to revise. No revisions needed to be made as all was fantastic. I enjoyed the cleanliness and quietness of the hotel and the food at breakfast was great as well as the selection. Staff and workers were all pleasant and very polite and helpful.

Great hotel with great facilities

Posted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Excellent facilities, great pool. Hot breakfast eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal etc. Good hot tub
Cons: Make sure lift is working all the time (we were told that we were lucky it had been out for a week)
Location: Near to Interstate. Many restaurants within two intersections (2 miles). Good for Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument etc.
This was our hotel to go and see Mount Rushmore. It was on the edge of Rapid City and the link down to Mount Rushmore was very easy. The hotel is very easy to find off the Interstate with McDonalds easy to spot as you drive (it's next door but not obtrusive). The road out was being dug up but that was not the hotel's fault. The staff were all extremely helpful and the breakfast(hot) was continually refilled when anything started to run out. The room was comfortable and had both a fridge and microwave. The pool, although small, was good and the hot tub was very relaxing. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation stopping here again. The only disappointment on this trip was Deadwood(enough said).
