Great Value

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Large pillow top mattress, newer shower and sink.
Cons: No improvements required.
Location: GREAT FOURTH of July Fireworks display - small town atmosphere with big city fireworks. People are very friendly.
This was a large clean room, newer bath and sink, with fridge and microwave. Bed was newer (July 2015) and very comfortable, "pillow top" mattress I believe. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Not America's best value

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Cleaner bedding. Get rid of stale odors.
For $77.00 I was expecting a "Best Western" type hotel. Instead, it reminded me of the $5.00 flop houses I used to stay in when I was in my twenties. The rooms were small, and had such an odor that I was unable to eat the snacks I had brought along. Thank God there was a Denny's near by--the only redeeming feature about this hotel.

Pros: NA
Bad, was bitten by a bug in the bed, out dated and exterior doors where bugs get in. Didn't stay at location after bug bite

Neat Clean Quiet Dated

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Saved $50 over the price of the brand name hotels across the street.
Cons: Better WiFi would turn me into a fan of this place.
Location: We were in Raton to visit Capulin Volcano National Monument. It has a nice paved road that circles around to the top of an extinct volcano.
We had a good night's sleep. The room was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. WiFi was spotty and the breakfast was nothing.

Large and comfortable room for the price

Posted Apr 4, 2015
The room was large and comfortable with a nice bed. The breakfast was limited but if you go early you are able to have more choices.

Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: The rooms are clean, pillows and mattresses comfortable. Breakfast in the A.M. is simple and a nice perk. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathrooms could use updating.
Location: Perfect location off of I-25. Near fast food and gas stations.
We have stayed at this hotel twice now. It is perfect for our way through on our road trips.
