Tara Place deserves all the positive reviews it has been getting, if you want to experience the old town but you like your luxury atmosphere this place is perfect, walking distance of the cheap tours, massages, food etc but not a hostel at all, very modern with unbelievably helpful staff I highly recommend this hotel. After staying here I moved to another hotel in the new part of town though, I advise if this is your first time in Bangkok investigate your areas carefully, a split trip was ideal for me!

The staff here are incredibly welcoming, and the hotel itself is beautifully appointed, with huge rooms decorated in a contemporary colonial style. The pool is lovely surrounded by gorgeous sun loungers and a beautiful view of the river. I arrived here after a very long flight from London, and it was just what I needed. sadly only had a night before moving on, but based on that short experience I'd highly recommend it.

Hotel staff are very attentive and thoughtful. We were greeted with a drink and seating as they placed all our baggage in our rooms. Beautiful decor and a great price! Hard to beat this value for sure.

Great location. We were welcomed on
arrival and shown to a nicely decorated air conditioned room. The wooden floors meant that we were asked to walk quietly, which seemed a little odd for a hotel. It is a really nice traditional Thai house with a mix of modern decor with antique furniture. Perfect location just round the corner from Khao San Road. We have booked to go again at the end of our trip.

Our stay at Sala Rattanakosin was 3 days and we wish it was longer! The staff was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the River was delightful. Excellent menu.
Comfortable bed, room size adequate, clean and nicely appointed. The staff went out of their way to make our visit memorable.

This was our 8th stay at the Grand China Princess Hotel. The service from this hotel is always outstanding, staff cannot do enough for you. The breakfast has never been surpassed by any other hotel I have stayed in. The location is a short walk to the Chao Praya ferry service which is a great way to get around.
Chinatown is a fascinating place to explore and shop although recommend doing Sampeng Lane when they open at 9 a.m. as it does become very congested, but this Lane is a must.

This was one the most best motels I've ever stayed at the food from the kitchen was wonderful the room was air conditioned, staff were very friendly and helpful. Was nice to relax in the beautiful cafe setting after a day of madness in Bangkok. They also had very reasonable tours available at reception. I will definitely be returning here on my next trip.
