A real find, a delightful B&B within walking distance of the historic centre of town - but in a quiet residential area. We stayed for 3 nights in March. Rooms were large and comfortable, with a view over the garden (some rooms open onto their own terrace) If you’re lucky you may spot the owner’s pet rabbit on the lawn! Bathrooms well equipped and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. A warm welcome from the owner, who was very helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations etc. Highly recommended

We managed to find the b&b despite the one way system but the owner had popped out despite us giving an arrival time window. We waited in the car on the street ok and were then able to park in his gated parking just up the street. They provided a kettle and milk etc on request for me to make tea in the room. Location, breakfast and outside space were excellent and much appreciated. The mosaics in town are well worth visiting and the town has a nice vibe.

The host and hostess were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was delicious and abundant and the garden is beautiful and welcoming. My only disappointments were the flat pillows and poor air-conditioning.The pillows were like sleeping on a folded sheet and I don't think the room temperature ever dropped below 75 degrees F despite leaving the ac on continuously.

Absolutely fantastic b And b the host couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed in quite a few during our trip around Emilia Romagne Italy and this was our last nights stay and it was immaculately clean staff were brilliant definatley recommend if visiting Ravenna for its proximity to the centre 5 stars all round

I stayed one night to visit Ravenna and the B&B was extremely well located and very close to the historical old town of Ravenna. The parking was a few meter from the property and very convenient. The owners were very cordial and accommodating and the breakfast offered was very nice I would stay here again and do recommend this for couples.

The location is perfect for visiting the city of Ravenna, the view of the garden from our room, and the staff were so welcoming, helpful, and polite. We had a problem with our car and they helped resolve it.

Staying at the Ai Giardini di San Vitale was a thorough pleasure. Our hosts were cordial and attentive. The breakfast buffet was superb; the gardens; stunning and delightful (although rainy weather prevented us from enjoying them fully). The rooms were spotless and clean; the beds very comfortable. There is a large comfortable 'common area' for dining and relaxing. We enjoyed meeting other guests. The residence is a converted and repurposed 19th century convent/church, with some original aspects still intact. The location is very good, very quiet, perched just above the Largo Giustiniano.

Peaceful hotel with a charming garden
This is a charming hotel with a wonderful garden view. It’s clean and conveniently located. It could use some updating, a bit of a refresh, but the overall aesthetic experience is lovely. That said, the elderly, male owner was forward and for the first time in my solo travels, there were moments I felt uncomfortable being alone in the house with him - and given that there are only 6 six guest rooms, there were inevitably moments in watch I was alone.

Location, Comfort and Quiet
We loved this very well located, quiet, pleasing accommodation in Ravenna. After parking our rental car in a free lot a half-block away, we were able to walk to all the beautiful sites within the Ravenna city walls, return back to our room for a rest and then walk out for an evening stroll and dinner in the very charming old city.

Booked this on a recommendation from Lonely Planet. It was amazing. The owner is the most friendly and helpful person. The property is walkable from most of the churches we wanted to see (not super close though, and the country was in the middle of a heatwave when we visited). Morning breakfast is very generous. Our room was spacious, even the bathroom was huge. Extremely clean and nice powerful AC, which was sorely needed.

Lovely hotel/B and B near center of Ravenna
Our hosts Concetto and Monica were delightful. They recommended good local restaurants and cafes. The hotel is small, with six rooms. We had the upstairs room with a garden view. Breakfast is served on the patio in nice weather. It is a nice opportunity to chat with other guests if you like. There is a wide choice of breads, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and Italian coffee cakes. We would definitely stay there again. Concetto even gave us a ride to the train station, as it was raining and we couldn't get a taxi.

We walked from the station, 15 mins. Located near San Vitale. So easy to nip back fro a rest or change of shoes.

Family run B&B in beautiful Ravenna!
Pretty, family-run B&B in a neighborhood adjacent to the main downtown area of beautiful Ravenna. The hosts are very kind. We checked in late and they even arranged locked parking for us just down the street from the hotel. The building itself is showing some age and the rooms have not been renovated recently, but if you're not expecting the Ritz Carlton I would highly recommend this place for it's locaiton and service.

The location is very convenient and the garden is lovely. The rabbit is sweet. They kindly drove us to the train station when we left and would have picked us up if we'd had a functional phone. We liked the neighborhood.

This is a lovely B&B with a glorious garden (although sadly the two days we were in Ravenna it rained unseasonably!)Everything you could want at a very good price. Helpful owners and we were even given a lift to the station at the end of our stay. Excellent breakfast and everything we could have wanted in our room. Close enough to the sites but quiet.

A beautiful B & B, situated in a quiet street near the heart of Ravenna, we had only a 5 minute walk from our front door to the Basilica. There is street parking available, and we never worried about our car once, as the area is very quiet and safe. Our room was clean, decorated in a stark white style, had air-con, TV, and a nice sized en suite toilet, with bidet and shower. Our room led directly out to the terrace, where we could eat breakfast if we liked. The morning we wanted to do just that, of course it was raining! We ate inside, in the spacious dining area instead. Coffee, tea, juices, water, croissants, rolls, meats, cheese, cake...all were on offer and all were delicious. Our hosts were delightful and full of smiles and chatter. Between them, they speak English, Italian, French and German. They were very helpful with restaurant suggestions, and when we forgot something at the restaurant one evening, our host happily contacted the maitre d' and made sure they had it for us when we came by. We had to get up very early on our final day but it was no matter - we woke to a full, hot breakfast, to see us on our way. A wonderful little hotel, we would highly recommend it.

Extremely convenient locationwise.the gentleman has been very helpful at the reception.room very simple, but spotless.maybe heating and hot water have to be serviced..we booked a twin , but instead had an king bed, for 1 night not a big deal.i recommand it for a short stay
