This is a basic, non-chain motel, which means it has its eccentricities. If you have a room on the second floor, the door to the room is on the main floor; once you open the door with your key you have to climb up a flight of stairs to get in your room. It's not apparent which rooms are which from the room numbers, so if you have a problem with stairs, let the manager know up front.
That being said, the manager(/owner?) Vicki was a delight. She was friendly and very helpful. It's not a bad place to stay at a bargain rate.
