“nice small island getaway”

Excellent service and beautiful large sea view room. Good food. Seems to be a popular stop-over for private yachts. Limited options for activities that you can do on your own. Sandy beach is ok, water is murky and corals are mostly dead. Rooms and activities are somewhat overpriced. Don't feed the monkeys.

“Rebak Island Resort , Langkawi Malaysia”

the location of the jetty for ferry transfer to Rebak Island is only 5min taxi ride from Airport which was a breeze and easy. We were well welcome and escorted to the room without much fuss. The resort is extremely well kept and has good choice of F&B which meets more than our need. Comparing the time needed to travel to Pantai Cenang and Kuah from the Langkasuka port , this hotel does not invoncenient us at all. In fact, for the money spend, it was well worth it's price.

Area recommendations

Pantai Cenang Beach....Nice F&B with good choice of things to do. The Cable Car ride is a must. I think you can skip Kuah city visit in Langkawi When visiting the Seven Wells - remember to pack towels and swim suits.

“WOW! The Rebak Experience”

Wow! what a first experience for me and my other 4 buddies and their families. the friendly service right from teh start till the end was exceptional. my friends and i had a great time on Rebak and had actually wished that it was a bit longer . we are already planning for a longer visit in not too distant future,

“Langkawi's Best Resort”

It's a really beautiful Resort with many activities that are included in the room rate. The staff is very friendly, they treat you like royalty! from the moment you arrive you can feel this. Make sure you arrange the airport transfer with the hotel, it will only cost a little extra which is totally worth it. the ferry ride between the hotel and the mainland is free, you just have to stick to it's schedule to make the most out of your trip. The breakfast is fairly nice with a good variety. Overall I can't say enough about the level of service we recieved there, they attend to each guest personally and they make sure you have a perfect stay. We had a very enjoyable stay wanted to take them home!!!! If you are going to Langkawi you gotta have to stay in Rebak!!! won't regret it!

Area recommendations

There is not much to see in the Rebak Island besides the hotel itself, but once you get to mainland Langkawi there is plenty going on. Go to Cenang Beach, many water activities there. Cable Car is a must, don't miss out on it. also the Sunset dinner cruise is a very nice tour to take. lots of pretty pictures!

They have a nice Buffet dinner in hotel a few nights a week, if you get to be there make sure to go!

“Tittilation”

One of the best resorts ive ever stayed in. They treat you like Royals. Wonderful food , beautiful beach , nice rooms with a balcony and amazing people. The only disadavantage was the last boat ride was at 22:30 , but still worth it. Stayed for two nights in 16 nights holiday but those two nights were the best for sure. Highly recommended.

“Great service, but poor maintenance”

This is a place to go if you want peace and quiet, very nice resort, great service, friendly staff (maybe a bit too friendly once they noticed I gave tips). The positive image is ruined by cheap quality or poor maintenance. The piping/plumbing was lose, the minibar was not cold, the AC unit made a terrible noise, etc. These things became quite important since the weather was not the best and quite some time was spent inside. Finally, the internet connection was a disaster, which made the picture complete for me. Maybe that is not so important to a lot of people, but for me it is. Being on a small island with no other facilities than the resort itself, requires nice weather in order to enjoy the stay as well as being able to go on safari, cruise, etc. When the weather is not nice it is important that the quality of the resort is tip top.. and it was not. With just a bit more focus on quality and maintenance and a bit more money spent by the owners, this would make a huge difference.

“blissfully relaxing”

Wonderful location and easy to get to the mainland. Very quiet with excellent service and friendly staff. Food good and reasonably priced - excellent cocktails and a well attended happy hour.MUCH nicer location than down the main strip on the island. Rooms spacious and comfortable - maybe needing some updating but the many pluses out weighed this for us.

Go to the Lighthouse restaurant on the mainland for dinner and sunset - fab food
