Private resort, beautiful beach, family friendly

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: The beach and pool were a highlight and the staff were wonderful.
Cons: The pier at Cenang port looks like it could use some cleaning up and does not seem very inviting upon first arrival.
Location: There is a great walking trail all along the island. The beach was great. There are lots of activities and tours that the hotel can organize.
We travelled to Rebak island with our 9 month old. The hotel was very welcoming and picked us up from the airport. Our room was very nice and they provided a full size crib (not a play pen). The room was a nice size with a huge bathroom. The room was a little bit dark even with the curtain open, but the view of the ocean was great. The beach was wonderful, soft sand, great swimming and very private. The pool was also wonderful, especially with a swim up bar. We enjoyed the long nature walks around the island and did an island hopping tour that the front desk helped us sign up for. Although there was only one restaurant to choose from the menu was good and we enjoyed all of our meals. They even offered to make a dish that was not on the menu when I mentioned it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were treated like VIP guests.

From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were treated to a first class service. The staff went the full mile to ensure that you enjoyed your stay. They couldn't do enough for us. The room (2-bedded suite) was lovely and clean. The pool area and beach was fantastic. The grounds and staff knowledge about the wildlife was great. The restaurant and menu choice was lovely. We enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to visit again and again.

Excellent Resort & our Rooms also Sea facing.

Pros: Nature walk, Swimming Pool, Moon deck, lots of greenery and offcourse private beach island.
Cons: Jetty service offer by Taj Complementary in fix time but they should increase the freequency during late morning/ Late afternoon/ & late evening.
Location: water sport like Para gliding should be done from your island if possible.
once we reach by Jetty and entered Resort we forget the world and enjoyed our stay and way in which all the Taj group member given us good service and very courteous. since we are Vegetarian and way in which Taj offer us Veg Cuisines start with Breakfast to dinner that was extra ordinary. overall we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Service, private island.
Cons: F&B price
Deluxe Suite is spacious & beautiful, right on the beach. Food was very expensive, so i'd recommend eating out. Service all around was top-notch. Would return.

Terrible staff, don't go by the word "Taj"

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Property is good, but ran by terrible staff
Cons: Train staff
Location: ......
Starting from the airport pick up till check out, everytime you have to request three time and wait for 45 mins. The staff has no training and too much rude except few, who are coming from Taj staff in India.

nice hotel, probably better for seniors.

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff, nice food.
Cons: The boat schedule should be adjusted to cater for late comers.
Pleasant hotel overall. biggest put off was the ferry ride which must be taken from the main land to hotel, and runs on a times schedule. last boat goes at 7.45, which means you have to have dinner at the hotel. Restaurant of hotel is very nice although highly expensive.

Hotel on a Island

Posted Sep 4, 2014
To reach the hotel ypu have to take a 15 min boat ride which is a great experience. Frankly you need to spend 2 to 3 days to explore the Rebak island which is very beautiful with its own private beach You go on a jungle walk spot different birds and animals etc. The staff is very friendly and help full. In total an aweaome stay.
