“Simple Hotel by the beach”

I have stayed at this hotel before and it is a really nice and simple place to stay at if you do not want a lot of pampering. It is across the street from the beach and that is great. The only thing about the hotel is the elevator is old and is very slow. Most of the local airline people stay at this hotel, so that must tell you something. I have only good things to say about this place. The breakfast is included with the price and should fill up the any one.

“Great Hotel for a visit.”

If you like a place were you can just go and do what you need without a lot pampering by others, then this is a great hotel for those kind of people. I had the suite and it was very nice and spacious for the price. Were the hotel is located you will most likely have the beach without a lot of people on it and you can just walk across the street to get to the beach. The breakfest was really good and can get you off to a great start in the morning. This comes with the room. If you need water of something while you are on the peach there is a person that handles that beach area that will be happy to handle your request. If you have kids and traveling there, I recommend the suite because it comes with one queen and two single beds. This not the largest hotel in Recife, but it does provide what you need for a trip to Recife. The only thing I did not like was the elevators, they seem to shake more than I liked, but I did see that they were working on these while I was there. But other than this it was a really nice place to stay.

“Second Time - Not Charmed - Not Going Back”

This hotel over all is not so bad, but the second time staying at the hotel, they did not put me in the correct room and my breakfeast ended making me sick. The elevators still seem to be a little more shakey than they should. So my recommendation is to skip this hotel and try out other hotels at the same area. I was able to use the wires in my room so this was a good thing, but it only worked the best next to the door of my room.

“Problems with Hotel Reception”

Hotel Receptionists did not speak any english, except for one guy who worked at the night shift. This was the only guy whom I was able to communicate with. Two incidents happened over there: 1- I called the reception from my room to ask for that guy. The receptionist was a lady who did not understand what I said...so she simply hang up the phone without even appologizing. 2- Laundry did not come in time and it was time for me to depart the hotel to catch my flight. I had a quarrel with them to urge my laundry back.

“Do Not Stay In This Hotel”

Why an old hotel has to be a BAD hotel?, I have stayed on old hotels and they were nice, some refurbished, and others updated, this hotel in RECIFE, is far from been considered a 3 stars, old and not maintained, dirty walls in the room, the room smell, as the air conditioning system too, they really do not care about the hotel, the elevators really remember the twilight zone, the one in a theme park, you do feel you are going fall down, the staff really not ready for help you with your needs, i do not recommend to anyone to stay, just choose another pay more but do not go in to this hotel.
