I know it's a high season, but that makes no excuse for the hotel to reduce their cares to the customers, especially when you paid for a premium suite for your vacation with them. Every minute counts.
I arrived at the hotel at the time for check-in, but the reception told that the room is yet ready and shall be ready in about 20 minutes. So I waited at the lobby. Then later I went to the reception again, the lady said that I can wait at the pool, the room is not ready and should be OK in 40 minutes. Then I was left in the lobby unattended. During the waiting, there is no place for me to get some water, nor did anyone introduced or guided me to the "pool" they mentioned. It seemed that they assume I already knew everything about the hotel.
After more than an hour of waiting, I finally got my room and also found the "pool area" they mentioned before.
All services there are paid, food or drink. I was wondering why would I pay MORE money for just waiting my own premium suit and the house just take no responsibility? Not even a welcome drink for the guest to refresh and get hydrated for a little?
Not a hotel that I will book again at a high season nor their premium rooms, it's just not worth the penny.
