Very nice bed and breakfast. Food was incredible. Inn keepers were very nice and hospitable. Room was a little small, but very well kept and clean.

Wonderful location just off the beachPosted Dec 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
This old Victorian was recently remodeled and is quaintly decorated in the period style, down to the breakfast china. We had a view of the ocean which is just a short block away. Our visit during Chrismas was especially nice as the house was cheerfully decorated for Christmas, and so were most of the Victorians around us. The Holiday season is a good time to visit, very uncrowded. The proprietor is very pleasant and attentive to guests. The gourmet breakfast on the weekend had a special egg dish and assortment of pastries and desert each day, and was quite plentiful. Excellent restaurants abound within 20 minutes walking distance down the boardwalk.

Pros: Old Quaint hotel. Congenial owner(desk clerk)
Dont stay here if you have to leave before 9AM as this B&B serves breakfast from 9-10 AM. Also, very small room was on the third floor with no elevators. Heisting bags up very narrow steps was very difficult as I am 80 years old.

Quaint b&bPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The b&b was very beautiful, clean and fresh. It was probably one if the cleanest places I have stayed in. The room was very quaint and beachy. The best part I would have to say was the amazing, scrumptious breakfast. It was delicious, and had a variety of food. We will defaintly stay here again.

Beatiful Victorian Hotel, 1 block from the beach.Posted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Clean, warm and welcoming.
Location: The hotel is ideally located just 1 block from the beach and 1 block from the main street shops and restaurants
The hotel was clean and charming. The host and hostess were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast (included in the room price) was delicious and gourmet. We couldn't have asked for more! Will definetly stay here again!

Victorian Dollhouse SettingPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Looks, comfort, convenience and friendliness.
Cons: Any "improvements" would bring more detriment than gain.
Location: Close to boardwalk and beach, Main Ave. shops (or shoppes) and restaurants. Not far from Asbury Park, Paramount Theater, Farmers' Markets, etc.
In Ocean Grove, NJ, a Landmark Community maintaining a late 19th C. look and feel, this B&B is an Award Winner for looks and style. The ambiance is charming and quaint, but also comfortable and with modern conveniences. Along with the curios and knickknacks, cushions and antiques the Carriage House includes free wi-fi and premium cable. The hosts are delightful, helpful and providers of fantastic breakfasts too. It's like a trip back to a gentle time in a lovely town, yet with no sacrifice of comfort. And, the rooms are a block and a bit to the beach and two streets from Main Ave. shops and restarurants. A wonderful place to relax, a great choice to vacation.

good b&bPosted Sep 1, 2013
We enjoyed our recent stay. Food was very good. Bed was too hard. We didn't mind climbing 3 flights of narrow stairs to our room but would caution guests with physical limitations.

A unique and beautiful placePosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Beautifully maintained and charming B&B in an ideal location in Ocean Grove. Breakfast was superb and so was the hospitality. We look forward to returning when next in the area.

pretty good - but not greatPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
we really enjoyed our stay here. we knew we would get a small room , but i forgot to realize that it was very small. despite that, we were still comfortable. bed sheet kept on falling off the mattress. breakfast, which was included was good and creative, but we would have been a lot happier for the basics - scrambled eggs, rolls, bagels and cream cheese. coffee was a bit on the weak side also. however, the owners were very attentive, and super helpful.
