this is my preferred destination when staying overnight in Red Deer for a business trip. Staff is friendly rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty, don't know how people find issues with this place, would definitely recommend.

Not very impressed

Posted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms.
Cons: free internet!
Location: Good location
This is the first hotel that we have been to in the last 15 years where we had to put down a $200 deposit on our credit card. Plus pay $10 for one hour of internet. Won't be staying again.

Wasn't Expecting Ritz but this very dissappointed

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: location, easy access to highway
Cons: Almost everything, very outdated place
Check In took 20 minutes and I had already prepaid Went to room, key card would not work in door Went back and got another key, tried it, took 10 minutes for it to actually work Went out to get dinner, came back and there was a red light on key slide, tried card, would not work Went back got another card, tried it for 15 minutes and nothing Went back to front desk, 2 people in front of me, it took 30 minutes to check them in Front desk came to room with master key and still not luck We had to go back to front desk so clerk could call someone, he could not figure out what was wrong 2 more people at desk when we got back. 15 more minute wait Clerk was advised battery was probably dead in key lock, he had to take a allen wrench and manually open door with a real master key He got me and advised that if I needed to get back into room later just come to desk and he would come down and open door for me. Went in, Supper was of course cold, went to put it in microwave and found half eaten sub and half a coffee in their. I think they must have been there for a few days, bread was moldy Could not have been happier to leave next morning

Nightmare

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Too hot, spider webs with dead bugs in corners, floor in bathroom collapsing, coffee supplies open and half used. Etc.

Cheap but get what you pay for

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Clean.
Cons: More options for the free breakfast; get better mattresses.
Location: Right of QE hwy 2 in Red Deer, thus, handy for a quick stopover enroute to Calgary.
The free breakfast was a real disapointment but I suppose you get what you pay for. The bed was hard and sank in the middle. Very basic but does the job if you want to save money.
