Great stay.

Pros: Pool right in atrium - easy access from rooms.
Cons: Difficult to get into hot tub if person has limited mobility. Make better stairs/ladder and have a seating area in it.
Stayed only one night but was very impressed. Had a pool right in the atrium which made it very easy to access from our room. Children friendly.

Pool needs updating

Pros: Location
Cons: Pool/hot tub
Location: Right in the downtown core. Walking distance to a lot of shop, restaurants, paths etc.
Everything was great, good location, good breakfast buffet, comfy beds. The pool and jacuzzi were the big let down. They are not kid friendly and there are no seats in the jacuzzi. you have to simply stand in 3 feet of water. At least it was a salt water pool and not treated with chlorine.

Nice hotel

We were in this hotel the night before my sister' wedding. We had the free breakfast that came with the cost of the room and it was very nice!

Decent mid range hotel

A comfortable place to stay if you don't want to spend a fortune. Small pool better than no no pool, and breakfast was included.

Not bad but not great

Staff was friendly food was good the pool was alright TV needs to be upgraded the carpets in the room were stained but the beds were comfy

Nice hotel, but the tub did not drain when you had a shower. The tub surround was old, too

Red Deer Lodge

Not as nice as I expected. The carpets were stained terribly, I had to wear socks to not feel so icky. The free breakfast was perfect. Waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, good coffee, ice water was awesome. Had a small beetle in the bed, not sure where he came from. They check you out & then ask you how your stay was.

We do have an agressive cleaning routine to maintain the condition of the guest rooms and I will be speaking with our Director of Rooms to ensure we have done everything we can short of replacing the carpet to care for it. I will also let her know the agent that checked you out requires some coaching on the correct order of our check out process. I am glad you enjoyed our breakfast buffet. It is a great way to start the day. It is unfortunate you had an uninvited guest in your room during your visit. We do take steps to keep nature's critters outside but there is always one that finds their way in. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again soon.

Diamond in the rough

Pros: Clean open space quiet
Last minute booking ,late a night turned into a pleasant surprise. Staff all round very welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable, loved the fresh oatmeal at the morning buffet and warm welcome by breakfast staff. Pool was a treat. Plan to return in future as this was a nice find.
