An Inexpensive, Comfortable Three-Night StayPosted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Its location was ideal for my purposes. I also that, had it been necessary, I would have been able to plug in my car. Finally, the staff were really
Cons: Unfortunately, there is no on-screen TV programming guide and the written network guide bears the date "2004" on it... Most inconvenient!
Location: This hotel was within walking distance of where I was required to be during my stay - very convenient.
Although this is the first time I've ever stayed at this particular Sandman, I would not have a problem with a "return engagement". While the room was clean and comfortable, I did have a couple of issues with the TV set which, unfortunately, were unable to be resolved prior to my departure. The staff with whom I interacted were quite friendly, professional and competent. I ate three times at the attached Moxie's Restaurant and found the prices to be reasonable and the food quite good. All in all it was a good experience.

Dirty and Cold.Posted Nov 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room didn't seem bad at first. But the Pillows were dirty probably not changed and there was some garbage left. The room had the air conditioner/heater mounted in the wall and the fan was on all night, so you think it would stay at the same temp, but it was hot and cold all night.

Location: In for family function but shops very close do Von Enid t.
Was able to check into room early to allow us to get to family function. Staff helpful and room clean. Bed fairly comfortable with hideaway bed. Bathroom lighting could have been brighter. Overall satisfied and would return. Rate for ditsy reasonable.

basics but respectablePosted Oct 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and appropriately appointed. The main draw back was the very tiny workout room and a weight machine that didn't work. AM pool hours could be extended for early risers.

Would definitely stay here againPosted Oct 15, 2014
We had a very nice one night stay at the Sandman in Red Deer. The hotel is conveniently located, the room was clean and well-appointed, and the staff were very pleasant. We requested an infant bed and one was quickly made available to us. We will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Red Deer.
