Downtown location

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Location and the room improvements since my last visit.
Cons: The outside look of the building. Maybe some paint and matching curtains throughout.
Location: Dairy Queen, Tim Horton's, Safeway, Pizza 73, Hospital and park trails
A busy weekend in Red Deer. I've used this hotel before, it wouldn't have been my first choice but my first choices were all booked. The outside needs improving but my room was painted and clean with a comfortable bed. I needed a place to sleep and this hotel met my requirements with a reasonable cost and good location. A little noisy in the evening with the traffic from Gaetz Ave. This is really my only complaint however the noise doesn't bother me very much, some people may have a problem with that.

You get what you pay for, but at least be clean!

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: near restaurants
Cons: focus more on the cleanliness.
Location: close to DQ, Tim Hortons and walking distances to most restaurants
We already know that it's going to be a cheap place, but at least be 100% clean. It's clean alright, but towels had stains and one of them have a strand of hair. With cheap places like this, they should just focus more on the cleanliness and not putting unnecessary appliances or furniture. Another thing was the blankets were itchy. Through the night, we keep feeling something jumps on our skin, thank goodness there were no bug bites. We slept the night without the blankets. Also, we got a non-smoker room, but it smells like one.

Pros: I liked the breakfast. I liked how quiet it was despite being on a busy street.
Cons: Some repairs needed to be attended to.
Location: The location is central but handy to the highway as well.
The staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean.
