If you don't mind dirt it ain't bad

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Though the front desk associates were friendly they did not make up for the dirty room, freezing pool, mold on the walls, and questionable temperatures on the breakfast items.

Decent hotel.

First time I stayed, they gave me the wrong bed size and the air conditioner was broken, but the room was nicely made. Second time I stayed, the room was horrible. The door didn't open nicely, you had to bust your way in. There was a random round table that took up most of the free space in the room. The tv was from the 90's. The bathroom was badly oriented

Sleepless in red deer

Noisy...people down the hall partying all night, music up loud, throwing beer cans off the balcony, yelling, banging on doors and then someone was up at 7 banging, music was back on, people going up and down the hall on an office chair

Find someplace else!

The building is old, carpets are soiled and ripped. The room smelled funky. The bathroom is extremely small. The cold water tap in bathtub didn't turn on. You could only open the window 4 inches as it was nailed not to open further. The TV was ancient. The ice machine is a long ways away. The pool area has no air conditioning so it was like a sauna in there-too hot and humid to breathe. The pool was hotter than the hot tub was-that's how hot it was in there. The breakfast area didn't have air conditioning either. The only two good things about the place was the staff was nice and the beds were comfortable although I had a beetle in my bed.

Poor Hotel FOR NOW!!

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Air Conditioning, rugs, bathroom, the stairs are pretty horrible.
Location: N/A
This hotel is under new management and is in renovations. I wish it stated on this site that renovations were happening and I would NOT have booked here. It seems like it WILL one day be much better but for now I would not recommend or go back EVER!!

What a dump.

Of the 5 lamps in the room, only one worked. The light switch by the door didn't work. The air conditioner was very old, didn't blow cold air and made a huge racket. There was a power bar by the (old tube style) TV that had at least 5 things plugged into it. The bathroom door completely blocked the sink and mirror unless it was closed. The bathtub was so old and the finish so worn off it was like a skating rink. Once I found the anti slip mat I could shower without breaking a leg, but the first time I stepped into it I fell over. The furnishings and decor are very dated, and do not match. The outside of the building was very shoddy and run down. The breakfast was ok, but nothing spectacular. Toast, fruit, yogurt and coffee. Pretty basic. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in this hotel and would never recommended it to anyone.

comfortable relaxing hotel

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Great price, good staff and great breakfast.
Cons: Door was a bit sticky to close but otherwise wonderful quiet stay.
Location: Lots of restaurants and other stores nearby in this bustling city.
Felt secure in this well appointed hotel with TV. Had a great nights sleep from which I woke to a great breakfast and easy check out. Clean washrooms and comfortable bed. Great easy to find location.

obvious use of chemicals to try to hide odours in hallway. same goes for the first room we were shown.

bed was clean but the rest.... not so much

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Cons: overall appearance. very dated
Front desk personnel was rude, went in 15 mins past check in time and were told to come back in an hour. Carpets are stained, old tv, fridge squealed, air conditioner was very noisy.
