Beautifully restored historic building.Posted Jul 15, 2014
The lobby, restaurant, and other public spaces are beautifully restored to the original grand style. My room was also restored to perfection and was modern, clean, and comfortable. The location in the middle of the main shopping and dinning area of the town was very convenient. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

Did NOT get what we were promised!Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, charm, quiet, convenience to the Beartooth Hwy.
Cons: True statements on website, 7 days service throughout hotel, and kind/considerate answers to hotel guests when they ask a simple question nicely.
Location: Only had time to visit the Beartooth Hwy.
Thought we were booking a treat for ourselves. But, we had also looked forward to a relaxing dinner in the dining room, after a long time on the road. Sorry, dining room closed today...They do have a lounge where you can get small menu, but that was not what we were looking for that evening. Biggest disappointment was being given option for a smoking room, having smoking room listed on my confirmation papers, and then being told by front desk that entire building was SMOKE FREE! We know smoking bands in most places, but had never been to this area and THAT was the main reason we picked the Pollard. Getting bookings with false advertising is just wrong!! Woman at front desk (possible assistant manager?) told me there was NO option on the web site for smoking rooms, even after I told her there was. Assistant clerk whispered to her that is was indeed on the site and 1st woman said she would change it immediately. Have not looked to see if she has done so yet. Booked a queen bed, but it honestly looked and seemed double size. It was very comfortable, but another disappointment. Lobby was inviting and charming. Assistant clerk was very pleasant.

Convenient location downtown Red LodgePosted Apr 7, 2014
The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Red Lodge. The historic building is attractive and the lobby/restaurant and sitting rooms are attractive and well maintained. The guest rooms are very small, including the bathrooms, which makes the comfort level below average.

Right in the heartPosted Apr 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location in the heart of everything. Walked to a food and wine tasting then around for first Friday's Art Walk. Such a fun town too!
