Great Get-a-wayPosted Oct 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for the 2014 Oktoberfest. The town is beautiful and the Alpine was a perfect place to stay. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. I will def return.

In valley among mountainsPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: A lot of land. Pretty grounds, on river.
Cons: I think they are maxing out on their property
Location: Horseback riding, hiking,a tv rentals, fishing,
Hotel was built in 1958. Updates done in bathroom, however very small had to close door to use toilet. Good shower. Good bed. Small efficiency type but adequate. Walls very thin, if you know what I mean.

BARE necessitiesPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was extremely overpriced for the amenities. I'm aware of the issue in availability of wifi in the area so I can't really blame the hotel for this. You have to go down and crowd around the office to log in, just an inconvenience. The hotel room we were in was about as basic as you can get. It had two beds, a table, shelf and bathroom. Nothing extra. No fridge, no microwave, no blow dryer, tiny single-use coffee pot, no iron/board. The linens are old and outdated. Towels old. Nothing about this room constituted the price except for the outside beauty of the area. For the price we had to pay to get a room...I won't do this hotel again. Will keep looking next time.

Nice location.Posted Jul 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel had a quaint appearance and the location was nice, however, the room was less than expected. Bathroom door would not close completely and the door lockset had to be played with to get the key to work. Probably won't stay here again.

No Wifi in rooms.Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Update to the 21st century.
Location: Location was very good, and the main street browsing was good.
Room was clean. Needs updating. No WiFi in rooms. Almost like stepping back 20 years. They still use keys.

Within walking distance to all shops & restaurantsPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
I liked it for the most part. The only drawback I had was staying on the top floor and having to climb the stairs. They are rather on the steep side, making it difficult to carry luggage up and down. If you're elderly or have trouble with stairs, make sure that you designate a ground floor when making reservations.

Great get away!Posted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you need to relax and just get away, this was an excellent place to stay. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the ski hill. Rest and Relaxation. Remember, there is no WIFI or internet. Only place to get internet was in the lobby, but I went to get away, and that was nice!
