In valley among mountainsPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: A lot of land. Pretty grounds, on river.
Cons: I think they are maxing out on their property
Location: Horseback riding, hiking,a tv rentals, fishing,
Hotel was built in 1958. Updates done in bathroom, however very small had to close door to use toilet. Good shower. Good bed. Small efficiency type but adequate. Walls very thin, if you know what I mean.

No Wifi in rooms.Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Update to the 21st century.
Location: Location was very good, and the main street browsing was good.
Room was clean. Needs updating. No WiFi in rooms. Almost like stepping back 20 years. They still use keys.

Within walking distance to all shops & restaurantsPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
I liked it for the most part. The only drawback I had was staying on the top floor and having to climb the stairs. They are rather on the steep side, making it difficult to carry luggage up and down. If you're elderly or have trouble with stairs, make sure that you designate a ground floor when making reservations.

Great get away!Posted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you need to relax and just get away, this was an excellent place to stay. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the ski hill. Rest and Relaxation. Remember, there is no WIFI or internet. Only place to get internet was in the lobby, but I went to get away, and that was nice!

good place to stayPosted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was clean and stocked. It was quiet ie... no noisy neighbors. The hot tub was clean with perfect hot temp. The balcony view was awesome. The only problem was few places to eat dinner on Sunday night for reasonable prices ie... non-fine dining price. The food and service was more than excellent. The town goes to sleep early and is a long drive if you forgot necessary items to pick up at a convenience store. Over all it is worth the stay friendly people, good food, clean air, worthy mountain views, and quiet relaxation option.

Very Clean Room in Perfect Location.Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Location great, close to everything. Rooms very clean.
Location: Great location by ski lift. Bars and restaurants also nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel because the location was so perfect for our ski trip. Our room was really clean with a comfortable king size bed and a wonderful view of the mountain where we watched skiers in the morning from our balcony while having coffee. Staff at the front desk helped us with dinner recommendations and were right on each time. Can't wait to return.

Best Hotel Experience Ever!!!Posted Apr 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Just an unreal stay.Everything was picture perfect. As soon as you drive onto the property you are amazed at the scenery. You are surrounded by mountains and pine and spruce trees and there is a large park with a river that runs through it. This huge ski run comes right down to the property. So cool!!! When you enter the lobby you are met with a smiling face and a spa like atmosphere (water fountains/peaceful music/fireplace/etc.) Just really sets the tone for the entire stay. Our room was on the 3rd level of what looked like the main ski chalet. It was decorated like something you would imagine would be from the Swiss Alps - it had a lot of wood in it and some really neat looking vintage art work which lent the European feel to it. The bed was new looking and very comfortable and the staff was good about giving us as much coffee as we wanted. The views from our room and deck were outstanding! An all-in-all terrific place to stay! Thanks Hotels.com. We will book again!
