“Will never go back again.”

The room we stayed in was musty and the carpet smelt awful of mold. We were forced to leave the window open and the bathroom fan running to try to circulate the air. The continental breakfast was very slim in choices and also had very few vegetarian choices. When we asked at check out about the moldy smell and if they would deal with it, they simply told us that they had carpet on order. We will not be returning to this hotel anytime soon!

“Red Wing Hotel”

This was a decent, run-of-the-mill hotel whose price was not outrageous. Some of the rooms had small balconies or patios which was nice. The breakfast wasn't too bad for this kind of hotel. It's fine if you aren't looking for something posh or elegant.

Area recommendations
If you are into B&B's, there are a couple of nice ones on 4th Street. Red Wing is a quaint town - several fun outdoor things - like hiking or biking the Cannon River Trail or hiking Barn's Bluff. There's also the Red Wing Pottery Sales room which some people find fun.
