Staff team very welcoming.Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Staff. They were warm, friendly and helpful. For an English person on my first visit to America, they dispelled any preconceived notions I had.
Cons: The decor is the rooms could be updated, however it was functional and clean.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the I5 motorway and works well for attending the functions at the Bethel church.
I stayed here with a friend, for 5 nights starting on Thanksgiving evening. We were using the hotel as a base to take part in services at the nearby Bethel church. We arrived at Redding airport at 11pm and phoned for the curtesy bus service. They had no driver available but ordered and paid for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the hotel. On arrival the receptionist was efficient and friendly as she checked us into our ground floor room. The room itself was clean and spacious, although a little dated in its decor. I discovered on my last day, that the clock, radio alarm also had a MP3 player function so don't miss that Johor like your own music. Dining. Throughout our stay we only ever had breakfast. Our waitress Cathy, was a really lovely, always welcoming us with a warm greeting. She always remembered what we drank ( one decaf and one normal coffee) and kept the coffee topped up throughout breakfast. They offer omelettes cooked to order by the chef, Bryce. Bryce was also polite and helpful with my questions about your American breakfast items ( I am from England so wasn't sure what some things were eg scones or "biscuits"). The omelettes he cooked were excellent. Staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My hire car had a flat tyre one morning. The receptionist called round for help and the chef, Bryce volunteered to change it for me. He was cheerful and willing to do it, even though it was raining.

Convenient location close to freewayPosted Dec 1, 2014
Cons: Room service/restaurant closes at 10PM- too early. We got there with 10 minutes to spare. We were stopping in Redding on our way back home to San Jose
Large comfortable room with plenty of space for our family of four

Mediocre lodgingPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Not much. The cookies at the front counter were good.
They gave us a room set up for the handicapped. And we are not handicapped. So there was a sink yet no countertop and little space to set anything. The tv was an LED yet half the channels were analog. There was also a lovely view of the roof and windows from some upper lighted room of some sort looking down into our room. The hotel is too expensive for what it offers.

Not worth the costPosted Sep 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Every year we book a hotel in Redding. I will not stay in this hotel again. It is very well kept but the woman on the front desk (older skinny lady) would not even look me in the eye when I was trying to talk to her, nor when my friend tried to talk to her. It is easy to see management is trying very hard, the place is beautiful, clean and the rooms are amazing but really for the price I can get just as nice, closer to central Redding and have a lovely breakfast included in the price.

Nice balcony - exterior roomsPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I wasn't expecting an open air walk to my room. Rooms and building showing some age, but clean. Balcony was a nice surprise except for the chain smoker in the room below - thought it was a smoke free hotel?! Overpriced for what it was, but there aren't many hotels in this town.

Pros: Nice restaurant, good food. Friendly personnel. Nice quiet location with wild turkeys.
Stopped on my way to and from Oregon and enjoyed the experience. Restaurant was comfortable with good food, friendly personnel and a nice quiet location with wild turkeys walking around the grounds.
