The Room Leaked in the Bsth room Hair Dryer they had to borrow from another Room Outlets for Cell phone we’re few and far between Floor had a stain my wife it looked like a dried blood one

I liked the variety for breakfast. I loved the new queen mattress in my room but the other queen mattress was still old, squeaky, and shifted easily. My room was 118 and close to an exit so the slamming exit door was loud. Also, the tub was old and stained and drained slowly.

The room we stayed in was filthy! And the carpet was disgusting. Nothing good to say at all. The beds were broken down the bathroom walls, and door was dirty. The window had mold in the tracks and the blackout curtains had tiny holes in them. The lobby’s restroom also was disgusting. Not clean at all, had two little dove bars like what they gave us in our room. And paper towel holder was empty. Nothing sanitary at all. I do have pictures if you want to see them. We did stay at your hotel in Bend Oregon and gave a review on it. Wow what a difference. I do not recommend staying at the one in Redding. Very disappointing for sure.

Upon checking into our assigned bedroom, we immediately noticed it was unclean and had a strong cigarette smell. We requested to be moved to a different king bedroom, but unfortunately, we were downgraded to a room with a double bed. This second room was also unpleasant as it had a strong smell of mold throughout our stay and carpet stains. Additionally, the cheap door made it difficult to ignore the conversations of people walking by our room. To make matters worse, anytime the guests in the room above us turned on the water, the pipeline would rumble loudly, causing further disturbance. We also had issues with the room key as we had to get it reprogrammed twice during our three nights.

We reserved a king bed and got there and they overbooked and we had to stay in 2 twin beds, the shower pole broken, and the tv remote wouldn’t work. So very disappointed.

Upon checking-in, discovered people in our room. Immediately returned to the front desk to report it. Front desk seemed confused and asked, "people in what room?" (should I really have to explain myself???) She mumbled something about having security check on it - not sure if they ever did...didnt see any security and still people in the initial room the next day(s). Fast forward to the next evening, we are awakened to someone trying to open the window!!! They disappear before I can get out of bed, but I did see a shadow move past. Unfortunarely, there was no phone in the room - I tried calling the front desk from my cell phone but no answer. When we checked out the next day, I again inform the front desk about what happened. They seemed skeptical and brushed it off. Apparently, based on other reviews, this hotel has serious security issues with homeless gaining access to rooms - probably using it for a brief stay, shower, and free breakfast. Next time Im in the area, I'll pay a little more for nicer, more secure, lodging.

Overall, the facility was nice, but our room was a little substandard. Had we planned to stay longer than just a night, I would have asked to have something done about it, however, we were there for less than 24 hours and too tired to deal with it. Main complaints: our room bathroom smelled like a urinal, the room carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, and there were no cups for the coffee maker or for general use. But we did enjoy the breakfast options, and my son enjoyed a quick pre-race workout in the fitness room.

The breakfast was supposed to be open until 9 am, and although food was available, they ran out of coffee at 8:30 and said were not able to make anymore as they were out of supplies. They were expecting a delivery later that day or the next day. The cranberry and orange juice machine was not in working order, and management did not offer any alternative, such as setting out pitchers of juice for guests. I believe there are creative ways for them to provide the hospitality advertised. The room we stayed in was dingy and old, but the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom light was burned out, but lights do that. Overall if we stop in that area in the future, we will choose another hotel. This facility did not meet even basic advertised services.

Staff was amazing. But everything about this place was worn down. Walls needed fixing. Dirty all around. Showers not draining. Carpet torn. Needs complete renovations. Unfortunately my family will not book at this particular location again. I’m sorry.

Jason at check in was absolutely amazing. Wonderful experience with him. But, there was no phone in our room. Only one light worked in our room. The bathroom was dirty. The volume button did not work in our room. The carpet and floor was gross. Breakfast was decent. The halls stunk of curry and pee all throughout the hotel so, was not a pleasant clean smell. Not recommend for a family stay. And the grass was not cut so I couldn't see my dog when it went bathroom and there was a ton of trash throughout the place.

Terrible noise at 11pm and again at 4:30am with multiple guests slamming doors using their door lock to keep their room open. The room itself was also very outdated and dirty. There were random stray hairs all over the shower and bathroom door. I would not stay here again.

First, got a room on the first floor. Inside the bathroom door a dog scratched a large hole in the door and chewed up the door frame. No effort to repair this. Our window was right up to parked cars. We asked for a room on the second floor to feel safer. Got off the elevator to a dark, stinky hallway. Oh my gosh, our room was filthy and disgusting. The white lamp shades were dirty and stained, The bathroom tub looked like it had NEVER been cleaned! Dark scum on the entire tub. The soap holder had chunks of blue soap dried on it. The bathroom vent was loaded with dust. The tile baseboard had a layer of black dust all around. The fridge had food crumbles in it and about 3 inches of ice in the freezer. The desk light did not work and the beds were hard. I have never in my life seen a room this dirty. The walls were dirty, the light switches were dirty…everything was dirty. I would guess that they do not have maids or maintenance people. I took pictures and will try to post them. Will never, ever be back.

Our room 231- the door did not close all the way, the bedsheets looked as though someone had slept in them, there was no soap in the bathroom, there were no wash clothes or hand towels, the bedroom floor was filthy and there were no plug outlets. I will not stay at this property again. It was ghetto. I did not feel safe.

This property should be condemned and does nothing for the La Quinta brand. By far, the worst hotel we have stayed in. Dirty(bedding, curtains stained, outlets not working and that was just the room. The halls were dirty, in need of repair/paint and the carpets filthy. The r only positive, bathroom was clean.

The place is not very clean, meaning: bathroom, baseboards and door were dirty; the people doing the renovations were leaving dirt down the hallways, in the elevator and throwing coffee cups in the elevator. Nearing the end of my stay, I had just finished dressing and then door, which was double locked every day, was slammed open. I said, "What the hell!", the two men looked surprised, but I had the tv on that can be heard in the hallway. One of the men stated, "Sorry, wrong floor, needed room 308.". I then proceeded to the front desk and talked to the clerk, while I was explaining to her about the incident, one of the men came out of the office and I said, "He looks like one of the men.". He stated he was and explained that they were on the wrong floor. He said it wouldn't happen again. I asked if I was going to be safe, I was traveling alone and they both assured me that I would be. He then suggested to the clerk to give me a new key, which she did. Then the very next day I had just finished getting dressed when the door whipped open but stopped with the door stop lock. I had the room booked for March 24th through March 28th, this would mean that I would need to leave by 11 am on the 29th, which was that incident at approx 8:45 am. I had the tv on this morning also. This man was in a purple shirt and looked like he worked for the hotel. He apologized, said he thought the room was empty. The clerk on the 29th sid the room showed empty and could not find me in the system

Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Hotel was in rough shape. Wall paper pealing off. Carpets had stains. It looked like the hotel was sort of under renovations but there wasn’t anyone working on it. Front desk worker was awesome. He was super friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was good. Breakfast room was extremely dirty and lots of items were low or completely empty.

Just basic common sense things such as the TV plug in was connected to the light switch. The lights by the beds were not working, the shower had conditioner dispenser but the shampoo dispenser was missing. Just a little attention to the minimal basics. The place needs a little TLC. Staff was great and the beds were comfortable.

We’ve stayed there over the last 5 years. Overall, the property is starting to get rundown. The rooms are clean but the interior needs replacing. ie. our bathroom door had a chunk out of it on the bottom, the toilet was unstable, the bed was not as comfortable etc.

The facilities were run down and needed a remodel, moldings were removed from walls, there were drop stains on the tile floors that were there from when we arrived on Sunday until we left on Tuesday meaning the had no mopped the floors during that time. The tables in the breakfast room were ignored when the server came into replenish the food and coffee service.
