Nice and cheapPosted Oct 4, 2014
Stayed here, driving thru. Clean neat place to crash. Nothing fancy, but it served our purpose.

I feel it served its purpose. We needed a place to stop midway through our trip.

would never stay here again!!!Posted Sep 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
What can I say about this place. First thing I noticed as I enter the room was the smell, not good, I have no words for it but it did clear out as the door was left opened as we unpacked. Second was the roaches my friend saw as she turned on the lights in the bathroom. we only took out what we needed for the night and returned our suitcases to the car so we wouldn't unwanted guest for the rest of our trip. The ice box , micro wave and TV didn't work. In the morning when I went down for the breakfast I found no bowls for the cereal so I had to put it in a coffee cup. When I told the manger about the problems in the room she seemed unconcerned. Then I got to Las Vegas and tried to buy a small gift for my daughter and my credit card was declined when I checked with the card company they said that the Ponderosa had taken $99 out, I told them that I had prepaid for my room, after 30 mins we got a hold of someone at the Ponderosa and got that straighted out. I would never stay there again and would never recommend it to anyone else.

When the TV has a short it is a flopPosted Sep 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
The TV had a short in the wire making the signal fade in and out if you moved the reception might go out. It goes without saying this ruined the evening and entire stay. We could deal with the night stand with the chewed off corner. It is one of the oldest hotel's in town and for that I could cut it some slack but when the TV doesn't work there is no excuse, reason or remedy acceptable.

Pros: Staff was very driendly and helpfull/

In the surrounding area we saw a lot of homeless people, beggers en junks. This does not give you a safe feeling
