Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Everything but the staff is the clincher!
Cons: No it's not necessary
I have stayed in this Hotel 3 times in 3 months.... I will Never stay anywhere else!! This hotel prides itself on going the extra mile. I am disabled and only 44. But they don't assume anything they treat a guest like Gold!!! If you have choice there isn't one!! Stay here!

Roomy rooms, pricey breakfast

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: the friendly staff; the big rooms
Cons: The pool should open earlier than 9:00 am.
Location: Easy access to I-5 and 44. Beware - the gas at the service station beside the hotel charges 40 cents more per gallon than other stations.
The staff at Red Lion is very friendly and accommodating. The decor is a little dated, but the large rooms are very comfotable. The breakfast is the standard continental breakfast offered free at most hotels, but costs about $7.

No air and cobwebs

Posted Jun 15, 2015
The A/C was not working and the air was miserable there. They tried telling me a fan would work and all it did was circulate hot air in room all night. They could not change me rooms and I was up all night sweating. Balcony was full of cobwebs as well as breakfast dining area chandeliers were covered in cobwebs needs a thorough cleaning will not stay again.

Very nice hotel and the staff was so helpful

Posted Jun 8, 2015
I would highly recommend this hotel over any others in Redding, rooms were way above what I expected and the hotel staff was one of the best I have ever dealt with, they made me feel very welcomed and made my stay one of the most enjoyable one I have had in a long time. I will be recommending them to everyone and plan to use this hotel for all my future visit. The staff should be highly thanked for a job well done.

Stay at the Rolling Hills Casino Instead

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Cons: Get rid of your dirty old furniture and ugly curtains.
Basically I already had a room and still had to wait 20 minutes to check in. The rooms need to be re-done the furniture is gross.

Not going back here.

Posted May 26, 2015
When we got there on Memorial Day weekend to check in there's was only one person checking people in. This is right at the check in time around 3pm. There was a long line the could have been avoided. It took me 1 hour to check in! There's really no costumer service here what so ever. No people to be found to ask for pool towel or anything. I usually don't complain but this was just very dissapointing.

Good stop off place

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Closeness to the freeway and convenient for traveling
Cons: I guess updating, but not that important as we were not staying long.
Location: Many restaurants close and gas stations. Not there for a visit, just the night. On the Highway within a minute from hotel.
Hotel is older and dated, but comfortable and clean. It is close to I5 so can pull over for the night and then get back on the road. The morning breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great. Food was above average. Overall the staff we were in contact with were friendly and helpful. Stay was pleasant.
