Bay view consisted of a lot of "junk" outside our window from the marina or something next to it. Over priced, but not a lot of hotel options.

Not so great

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: It is just old... not much you can do with it.
Location: We went to a seafood restaurant nearby named The Grotto.
I was expecting for the price I paid to have a nicer hotel room. This was old and just so-so. The breakfast was adequate. In general, this hotel is overpriced for the average quality of the room.

WAY overpriced

Posted Jul 13, 2014
I payed about $170 including taxes for one night at this hotel. For that much money I was expecting something pretty nice -even in Crescent City. It was not a nice hotel. It was pretty run-down and there was bright orange plastic construction fencing right outside the "patio" door of our room. The room itself was on the small side and quite outdated. All of these things I would have been fine with if the room cost about half as much as it did. It was just way overpriced.

Quality Inn

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Location: Didnt stay long enough
We called and had Expedia do the booking and when we got to the Quality Inn were told they didn't book it right and the room was NOT pet friendly so he charged us another 70 bucks to get it right I certainly dont mind paying the extra 15 dollars for the dog but $50.00 extra for the room is not right I am expecing a credit to my Visa!!!!!!!!! And our room had a bath tub that did not drain....that to me is worth a partial refund. It will be hard for me to recommend Quality Inn or Expedia Kathleen Nelson Lake Havasu City AZ

Nice Clean spot near the Redwoods

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Staff very friendly, large spacious rooms.
Carpet is new throughout. Rooms are spacious, we had no problem fitting a pack n play, two large suitcases, two adults and three rambunctious kiddos with room to spare. Staff was warm and welcoming, we arrived late after a long day of travel with a very grumpy toddler and were made to feel at home. Breakfast was adequate, more than your typical continental breakfast.

Disappointed

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: close to the water
Cons: sell to a better qualified owner who is compassionate to his employees and guests
The middle eastern man was rude.. he apparently was the owner and training the new hire.. but to degrade and embarrass her like he did is unprofessional. He was not accommodating at all. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The next morning at check out.. the systems went down and was told that I had to wait before I could check out.. I advised that I purchased room via this site and showed her the receipt but she said that she needs to physically check me out before I could leave. The "hot breakfast" was disappointing too.. the cost of this room was clearly over priced for what we received.

Very large and spacious room.

Pros: Quiet and restful area
Cons: Clean the carpets. They were very dingy, but we did notice a carpet delivery truck, so maybe there's new carpet which is really needed.
Location: We were there for the view and trails and trees
Spent a vey quiet night at this hotel because most of the guests were spending the day trekking through the Redwood Forest! Great breakfast the next day! Room was large and had ample drawers and space.
