Enjoyed hotel stay. Was close to everything.

Really liked the staff. The older lady who did the breakfast bar did a great job always comunicating with the customers and seem to really enjoy her job!

The hotel interior looked a bit run down and shabby. Staff was excellent. Room was OK but could use some work.

Has improved but ...

Posted May 7, 2015
I was very glad to see that a breakfast room has been added to the hotel. The staff is pleasant and mainly helpful, and the room is comfortable for the most part. However, there are still some concerns . The heat control in room 718 is very old and not functioning and really needs to be upgraded. When I stayed on the night of the May 6th I had an uncomfortable sleep as it had been a hot and the room didn't cool much even with the window open. Also the back door to the hotel needs to be fixed as the duct tape that was supposed to keep it open was starting to fall off. You might also want to ask your staff not to refer to the patrons by their room number when answering the phone or speaking to them at the desk. Also if the staff says they are going to do something they should follow up or call back and explain why they can't. The placement of the tables in the breakfast room should also be looked at as they seem to be a little too close together, people were having difficulty moving through them. Thanks for listening. I will again stay here the future due to the cost and location.

Ok stay if you're thirfty

The place was clean but age is beginning to show. The front desk staff wasn't friendly or helpful, they never asked me if I was ok or comfortable. The bed in the suite was hard as the floor, I woke up with back pains and the breakfast was cheaply put together with no protein at all.

Excellent price with breakfast!

We stayed one night and felt the price was right for this hotel. It is an older hotel but the room was clean and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The location is excellent and although we did not park in the lot because it was full there was lots of room on the street. The free breakfast was wonderful.

Nice location

Right downtown Regina, easy to get around. Older building and as it was April the Air was not on yet just the heat so the room was too hot. The windows could open so this helped but then it let in noise from outside. Also very noisy whenever anyone was in the hallway. Otherwise a lovely hotel.

Reasonably priced hotel?

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Service
Cons: The rooms
Location: Regina, Victoria at Broad.
It was warm and stuffy when I walked in. I attempted to adjust the thermostat but it was not working. I called the front desk and the lady on duty came to the room and diagnosed the problem and then we enter and got was was needed.

Cons: Better security outside. a lot of homeless type people hanging around.
I stayed in a smoking room this time because my sister smokes. not clean and kind of gross.
