Classic old building with great history.

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Beautiful old building with very tasteful restoration, giving the look of an old classic hotel.
Location: Right in the heart of downtown Regina, close to shopping , theatres, and the home of the Riders, Mosaic Stadium.
Very clean, beautifully appointed room in an old railway hotel with a great history. Super room service and very friendly staff. We really appreciated the room upgrade and the complementary breakfast.

A Great Hotel

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The beds were very comfy. The guy playing the grand piano in the lobby was a very nice touch. Elevator was very fast. The wifi was free. Dogs allowed.
Cons: I was surprised with no working elevator to get luggage from street level to check in. There was one in the back entrance but it didn't work for us.
Location: This is right downtown Regina, across from a nice park. There are lots of restaurants near by.
This was our first time staying and we really enjoyed it. It was relaxing, classy, central and right across from a nice park. It was a block and a half to the mall. The staff were very friendly.

Not totally bad

Posted Aug 18, 2014
I went to this hotel for 1 night and I must say that it was more than enough! Parking is not included. Staff seems to be in a hurry while in fact I was the only one around when they answered me. Quite an expeditive welcome. The worst thing as you might read in other people comments is the noise. I could hear the person in the room next to mine so well that i could have tought that he was taking his shower in MY room. I also try the restaurant which was okay but a bit expensive for what you get.

Well maintained gem!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Regina. Well maintained and renovated to its original charm. The beds are new and comfortable, the room has modern amenities like extra outlets for electronics. Self-parking is conveniently located behind the hotel. Only stated one night, so I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy all amenities. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

Moving to Regina

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Proximity to downtown and services
Cons: A ramp at the front door, just in case a bellman is not available to assist with luggage.
Location: Cornwall Centre for good shopping, Victoria Park with a wonderful farmer's market, and lots of restaurants
Arriving into the foyer and facing the staircase was like facing Mount Everest as I had 4 large suitcases. Immediately, the manager assisted me and even printed off directions of my new job. The staff continued to be helpful throughout the week providing me bus routes and other tips. The location was ideal for me to begin shopping for my new house. When I wanted to eat outside the hotel, I found a great restaurant an easy walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit downtown Regina.

Reliable consistent

I've stayed many times. They have a good dinning wifi and service. I'm usually dead tried by the time I get into the hotel. I get up to my room shot out my last emails of the day . Usually I would go down and have 1 pint of beer on tap then dinner bed and 7 hrs sleep. Great.

Great location being in downtown Regina

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Cons: Entrance and exit to parking lot, possibly a ramp would help.
Location: Great location as it is downtown Regina so walking distance to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and parks. Walking distance to Rider game.
Excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were small but clean. Entrance to the back parking lot was inconvenient due to double doors needed opening and stairs to climb with luggage in hand. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful - great having doormen opening the front door as you enter the hotel.

Beautiful historic hotel. Small rooms though.

Great stay, not very much offered extra. Had to pay for parking.
