“Looking Forward to More Stays”

I enjoyed my stay here and wish it was longer. The only negative feedback is that the oceanfront double room is pretty small, but that's being compared to suites which I normally stay in.

“Perfect for Young Families”

Staying with our 2- and 4-year-olds, we couldn't be happier! Right on the beach and with a pool, The Atlantic Sands was a perfect choice. The entire hotel is recently renovated and the in-house restaurant is new this season (with a doting staff and chef who creatively come up with child-friendly options on-the-spot; ask for Sarah as a server!). The suites are perfect for early child bedtimes while Mommy and Daddy can stay up in the living area (w/ 'fridge and microwave) or balcony without disturbing anyone. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops and "Funland" (the ultimate family-friendly and budget-minded play spot), we'll be booking some time at The Sands each season.

“Great Value!!!”

This was our first stay at Atlantic Sands and we would go back in a minute! The staff was very friendly and helpful in making restaurant recommendations. One day we had a problem with our in-room safe and within 10 minutes of calling down to the front desk someone was at our door to assist us. The location is perfect-within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the boardwalk's little amusement park. Even though this hotel is close to everything it's very quiet and relaxing (and we stayed when the hotel was pretty full). Great place for families!

“On the boardwalk- great!”

The Sands was a great hotel! Being on the boardwalk, we had just a few steps to walk to the beach. The room (a deluxe suite) was very clean. We had 5 adults and didn't feel cramped as there was a living area and a bedroom with 2 double beds. The fridge, microwave,kitchen cupboards and kitchen sink helped save money as we could store and eat brealfast and lunch in our room. We asked for extra towels and coffee and found all we wanted left in our room each day. Would have loved a room facing the ocean but booked in June for July so we were happy to get what we did. Beach umbrellas and chairs were free on a first come basis.

It was as expected. I really like staying at this hotel when visiting Rehobeth. The staff is friendly and it's the best location. Wonderful ocean view, right on the boardwalk, 1/2 block off of the dead center of all the main drag. Perfect!

“Nice hotel on the boardwalk”

It was a decent room, clean, spacious and as described. The hotel is directly on the board walk the beach is 20 yards away. We only stayed one night but enjoyed it and would certainly stay here again.

“Not Too Shabby In The Off Season”

The Sands was over all relatively nice, for the off season. Our ocean view was just that, clear and unobstructed but not ocean front. I loved and was surprised to have a balcony! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the greeter was very quick to offer assistance and direction. The room was clean, with one stain on the carpet and a mark on the wall. The furniture was a little beaten up around the edges but still acceptable. My main complaint was the bedding. The vellux blankets had some very noticeable holes. The pillows were also impossibly small but firm. The mattresses were also very soft and great for bouncing but not sleeping. The bathroom was far from luxurious. It was small but did the job. The towels are typical, rough, hotel towels. The bathroom was clean and well kept aside from the bath tub. The bottom edge of the tub surround had a lovely ring of mold. It might have gone unnoticed if I hadn't been bathing my children. As previously stated, the walls are thin but so are most hotels. I don't expect all sound to be stopped. However I was slightly annoyed that I could hear the music from one of the event being hosted in the hotel till late in the evening. Knowing that there are party rooms on every floor is a little off putting. I think the off season prices are very reasonable, however the on season rates are exaggerated, even with the balcony, ocean view, and boardwalk . The staff does take care of their clients and the cleaning staff does well.
