“Very nice inexpensive lodging”
Room was clean and comfortable. Only problem was heater/air conditioner hard to adjust properly-could have been because outside temperature fluctuated wildly during our weekend. Otherwise, Michael at front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall very positive experience.
“Breakers Hotel for a Break from it all”
*extremely convenient location... 2 blocks from boardwalk/ ocean, and one block from main "strip." (you never have to get in your car until you go home), yet we we were in a quiet neighborhood. *free parking, enter behind hotel. (initially entered by front desk and couldn't find parking) *you can see the sea from the rooftop! *We had a nice balcony with a view of the lake. *Clean* Just went for a quick weekend getaway (husband and I). Didn't ask for anything from the hotel, didn't need to. There is a continental breakfast, but didn't go. Pleased with our stay. Would return to same hotel in future.
“Best Beach Hotel”
This was the best "beach" hotel we have every stayed at (20 plus years)...we are not big spenders but like clean and convenient. This place was great, even let us park our car there after we checked out and use the outdoor shower so we felt we got awhole extra day on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we will go back!
“nice place”
Thought the hotel was nice, room was comfortable (we had a suite). Hotel staff was very accommodating and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. 2 block walk to the beach, boardwalk and shops on the avenue. Would recommend.
“Safe, clean, great location!”
I wanted to spend a couple nights in Rehoboth by myself to get some much deserved peace and quiet. This was a perfect trip. I felt safe and very comfortable staying there by myself. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. I sat on my private balcony in the morning enjoying my coffee and looking at the lake and watching people walking their dogs and riding bikes, etc. The beach is a short walk away. The shops and restaurants (and ice cream parlor!) are right around the corner. I never had to get in my car until it was time to go home. The only downside was that the folks staying below me had a dog that barked a lot. I think it's great that Breakers is pet friendly, and I love dogs, so it wasn't that big a deal for me, but others might have objections.
“Great Hotel...Period!”
The staff was exceptionally nice and very inviting. We were able to check in early since the room was already clean and the parking was only $3 extra with plenty of spots. It was only a five minute walk to the beach and the complimentary breakfast at the sister hotel was delicious and surprisingly comprehensive with bacon, sausage, MTO waffles and omeletes, and a host of other breakfast items like muffins, cereal, and coffee. All in all, I would definitely stay at Rehoboth Beach again, and definitely book at The Breakers Hotel.
“Great escape at the beach”
This was a clean, comfortable hotel room. Nothing fancy about it but perfectly adequate. The staff were extremely friendly. We arrived a little early and asked to park in the lot. Our room was actually ready (at 11, check in time at 4) and they let us check in. We also were surprised that instead of the continental breakfast advertised, we actually got a full buffet breakfast at the hotel down the street.
“review”
great front desk staff. fixed the ac immediately great location with parking. not a five star hotel but very beach friendly and easy
“Convenient and pleasant”
Pros: Really great location. Very pleasant staff. Nice views from the balconies. Other than the things mentioned below, the room was attractive, comfortable and in good condition with no noticeable wear. The lobby and front were nice. Cons: *All of the hotel WiFi networks were too weak to use. The bedroom lamp wouldn't turn on. The kitchen light flickered like a disco strobe light. The vertical blind dropped a slat when we opened it. Didn't bother us, but might bother you: The shower water temperature fluctuated a little, but we never had to take a cold shower as with some beach hotels. The elevator, back hall and entrance from the parking garage were sort of shabby. Overall: We liked it. We thought it was a good price for the location and quality.
“Short walk to beach”
Short walk to beach, local shops and restaurants. Clean room but there were a couple pesky flies...don't know if we let them in on our way in or not. Toilet in bathroom seemed to flush funny but it was ok. Comfy beds with lots of pillows, Would stay there again.
