Horrible Experience - Would Never Stay There AgainPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Absolutely Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Bulldoze the entire facility. It's a shame you treat guests that way!!
Location: Find another hotel.
First room smelled horrible, asked to be switched. They put me in another room that smelled equally bad and the carpet was wet due to leaks from the ceiling. Was supposed to stay two nights, but checked out after one. They didn't even give me a refund on this horrible experience. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Dewey Beach HotelPosted Aug 10, 2014
Cons: Wifi is truly horrible.
I didn't feel as if this hotel deserves the negative reviews it recieves. The wi-fi is useless. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast with sausage, egg cakes, and waffle making available. It's not Cracker Barrell. It's nothing special. But I don't expect 5 star dining from a spare room out of the side of the the hotel. It filled me up enough to get me on my way to the beach. The young lady that takes care of the breakfast works very hard. It was what I expected. The house keeping was a problem. Every morning they knocked on my door by 9 am. Every morning I turned them away. We normally arrived back at our room by 1pm and one day it was done, two days it wasn't. But they did a fine job when it got done. The hotel is a short walk to Dewey beach. There are also a ton of restaurants and bars down that way. Also a short walk to the Jolley Trolley stop which is public transport to Rehobeth Beach, the boardwalk, and downtown area. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. The hotel is expensive, but cheaper then all the other hotels that are a bit closer to the action. If you want to save a few bucks to have to work a little harder to get to the fun you will be very happy. It was clean, comfortable, and overall a very nice experience. I would stay here again.

Great experience. Walking distance from the beach. Had an outdoor shower to clean up before coming in the hotel. Toms were clean and the service was great.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. However I wish I had not used hotels.com. I ended up paying another $40 for our stay. I won't do that again!

Pleasantly surprised! Nice staff, quiet hotel, and not too far from the beach.

Spacious rooms!Posted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The staff were excellent. The rooms were huge, very good if you have little ones and they will have some space to move around. The beds were comfortable, the room furiture could use some updating but more than serves the purpose. Walking distance to Dewey beach (10 mins) and a short drive to Rehoboth beach and all the shops around there. If we didn't have small children we could probably walk to Rehoboth (30 mins or so walking). All in all a nice place, especially for the price. We would recommend to any price consious vacationer and we would definitly come back.

Rooms now have flat screen tvs. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Indoor pool was clean but the water was a little cold. Just a few minutes to the beach and to the outlet stores. I would stay here again. Staff was very helpful, too!

Large room, rather sparse furnishing. Carpets need cleaning, sand in chair. Bed and pillows comfortable. Hotel was quiet. A pleasant stay all in all.
